Chuck Bonneau at Pakpour Banks is an amazing advocate! He fought for my daughter and me through a delicate custody and support battle. Chuck showed us kindness and empathy while strongly supporting us in court. This was a lengthy, ongoing legal situation with several moving parts and issues. Throughout it all, Chuck never waivered in his support or advocacy. I am incredibly grateful, and there is no one I would rather represent me in family law. read more

Truly impressed with how he handled things in family court. I didn't have to do much which is a huge plus.

If you get a minute from making TikTok videos, would you kindly unsubscribe yourself from my case. I emailed you about this issue respectively when I relieved you from my case. I believe you blamed The Court so I gave it some time, as you suggested, I just want to let you know it's been two years and I still see your name subscribed to my case. Additionally, my current counsel advised he does not have access to YOUR case subscriptions and is unable to provide assistance in the matter. Not only did I have to deal with the repercussions of your inadequate representation due to your negligence and indifference, but must I still see your name in my family's legal documents? I'm sure ethical guidelines preclude you from lurking into the cases of clients you no longer represent, however, I would be much happier knowing you don't have access to them. TYIA read more

If you are looking in to hire an attorney with "0" communication skills, extremely expensive for the awful level of services. Pakpour is very disrespectful to his clients and an instigator to compensate and make himself feel better. If you respect yourself and your children hire an attorney from Sacramento which is very competitive with a wide array of excellent talents. City of Davis is very small, which only offers a few Family Law Attorneys with ulterior motives such as Brian Pakpour read more

I had a consultation with Keith banks. Paid $200 and he made it sound like he was so excited to represent me, but when I asked for representation, he ghosted me. Not sure if he's lazy or incompetent. Either way. Not worth the money.. read more

There are no words that could explain how Grateful I am that I found Mr.Pakpour and his team of highly skilled professionals. All my filings, responses and declarations were Immaculate, prompt and very effective. Mr.Pakpour is better than you'd ever expect. He is genuine and won't tell you something unless he really means it. If the outlook doesn't look good, trust me he will not tell you otherwise. Tiffany the paralegal is a ninja. Her and Mr.Pakpour work beautifully together. They learned about my case, and took a great interest in the good fight. I just wanted my day in court and that day came and I'm truly blessed that I had my "A team". Mr.Pakpour has been my Counsil for 5 years. He and Tiff I consider family. MY case is now being transfered to a different county. And I now have physical and legal custody of my child. My last day in trial Brian was like Lt. Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise) in A Few Good Men "Tell me the truth!" Haha but really. Tiffany and Brian passionately fought for me and my son. And we won. My son is now where he is best. I am just so grateful. I wish I had a better way with words because I just can't find the right words that can describe how impressed I am. They did such a great job for me from beginning- to end. read more

I recently contacted Brian Pakpour to obtain advice on how to represent myself in a court matter. He did just this plus he reviewed my papers regarding notices and declarations intended just for the respondent as well as those filed for the court. His comments were on point, kindly and informatively made and he didn't deride me for representing myself! Further, he suggested he prepare a judgment for the judge to execute if I won plus a protection filing I knew nothing about. If the need or benefit of these two documents was available on Sacramento County's self-help website - I totally missed them. Nor did the wonderful folks at the Yolo court's legal assistance office suggest them. Talk about money well spent! For the cost of an hour of his time I walked away with the advice I sought, the confidence I wanted and two very helpful documents I hadn't a clue going in that I needed. He advertises that he gives the first half-hour of consultation free. In my case I was so pleased I didn't even ask him for that free half hour. I got a boatload of value and two documents for the price of one paid hour of his time! Now it wasn't the cheapest hour I ever paid a professional - but it was money very well spent! I won the judgment I sought. Hallelujah! The Judge seemed surprised and pleased I had the Judgment document all ready for signature. Thanks to Brian I looked more competent than I felt. Happy me on all points. Brian is a competent, amiable, nice guy one feels comfortable with in conversation. He is more engaging face to face than I thought he would be when I called him. But that's probably just my perception. I almost always prefer meeting people in person versus by telephone. Chris Konwinski here in Woodland had advised I review this case of mine with Raquel Silva in Davis. Ms Silva shares an office with Brian and referred him to me. Good call! I would be very confident in using Brian Pakpour for any legal situation relevant to his practice in future. read more

I was referred to Brian's law office from a neighboring family law office, I called him to ask some questions and he was very quick to allow me to come in for a free consultation. Although my case turned into a mess, the whole time, he was very re-assuring to me that it will be OK. He answered all my questions and completely helped me achieve the over all goal..I really like how he replied to my emails and calls in a quick manner. I was probably a little annoying at times but he was so professional at handling my worries and concerns. I would refer anyone to him!! He knows all the family law rules about whats fare and whats not, My custody battle has been a struggle but thanks to Brian he has made this a very good outcome. Thanks Brian! read more

A bit surreal. Sent out a message with a short intro of what I needed. Got a call back within 1/2 hour about setting up a phone consultation...at $500.00 a pop, without any mention what they could do for me and at what cost. Of course I will pay for services, but never upfront without knowing what I am paying for. We are all experienced in our field. If someone comes to me for my help, I am going to tell them exactly what the issue is, how I will resolve it and the exact total cost to them. I expect nothing less from an attorney. My story here is simple, kind of black and white. Either you know how to help me, and I pay for your work, or you don't and we move on our separate ways. Through Yelp, I located an attorney here in Scottsdale, AZ about another issue. He got back to me within an hour with detailed options and at what cost to me. It showed me he had actually read my message and spent a good 10 minutes through our back and forth exchanges. I have now retained his services. It's not rocket science. read more

I went into talk to Mr. Pakpour after speaking to a few other lawyers. I was referred to Brian and my only regret is that I didn't find him sooner. My case turned out to be more complicated then originally thought but he helped me understand what was going on every step of the way, because frankly, legal talk is a foreign language to me. I made an appointment with Brian Pakpour based on Yelp comments. Even though I called after hours, he immediately returned my call and took time to get details on my situation and make an appointment. He sounds lawyer-scary over the phone. In person, however, he is knowledgeable, direct, honest and compassionate. My Domestic Violence / Family Violence case is very complicated, with a very long history. Brian moved the interview along efficiently while still being sensitive to the emotional burden I carry. Most importantly, he took me seriously and he heard me. I wish I had contacted Brian years ago. I would definitely recommend him. read more

Brian Pakpour is an outstanding Family Law Attorney in Davis, CA. I spoke to a few attoneys prior to retaining Pakpour yet had trouble with them wanting to help because my case seemed like a complete mess. I was referred to Pakpour by another attorney who spoke highly of him. Pakpour put my anxiety at ease and was comfortable to work with. He explained everything he was doing as he did it. Pakpour is honest and realistic. He was very helpful in preparing me for my trial which seemed very scary and intimidating at first. He charged a very reasonable rate and was upfront about it. He was the only attorney I spoke with that did not seem to care about the money but actually wanting to get justice. This man definitely is passionate about his work. Even after my trial was over I ran into Pakpour various times and he was still very friendly and acknowledged me as well as asked how everything was going for me and stated if I ever had any questions to contact him. I highly recommend Brian Pakpour and will definitely be using his services in the future if another situation arises. Thanks to Brians help I gained full custody of my son and I am forever grateful.
