We had their mail order cakes in a jar for our monthly firm birthday cake celebration...blech. Sickeningly sweet and basically flavorless minus the sweetness. Most of the people took a few bites and tossed the remainder of the jar in the trash. Hopefully, we will not have that again. read more

My wife and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, as does my daughter and her then soon to be husband (now actual husband). My daughter wanted to have her wedding in the Grand Tetons. Trying to figure out how to best deal with her wedding cake was a major concern for her. Fortunately, her Wedding Planner suggested Paisley Cakes. Paisley Cakes provided my daughter a tasting kit which she used to decide what flavors each cake layer would be. It was then in Paisley Cakes hands. They delivered the cake to the Jackson Lake Lodge wedding venue in a timely and "fresh" fashion. Let me just state this. The cake was DELICIOUS!! Thank you, Lanae! I'm so pleased that the cake was a such a hit and the stress of getting it to the venue was eliminated by Lanae and her team. THANK YOU! read more

Pros: I don't think I've ever had cake this delicious, incredibly good, absolutely amazing taste. With little to no direction other than flavors and colors, they did a great job. Cons: The way this incredibly expensive birthday cake was packaged for transport was quite disappointing. Meaning the box was too small and the frosting was dinged up by the time it got into the car. Had to repair the frosting and (silk ?) flowers at home. Would understand if it had been a $50 store cake, but after spending near $300 it really should have been their priority to make sure the cake could travel intact. read more

My husband and I renewed our vows in Grand Teton National Park for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We ordered the smallest size cake since it would just be the 2 of us. Lanae was absolutely fantastic through the entire process. We live in FL so we worked with her to get a cake tasting kit mailed to us. It was difficult to choose a flavor because they were all so good. Lanae also worked with us on the cake delivery so that we wouldn't stress about picking it up before our day. The final result was everything we wanted in a cake: gorgeous and delicious! We highly recommend getting your cake from Paisley Cakes! read more

Be careful about placing your order with these people. You need to let them know at least one week in advance , period. They don't care about who you are or how urgent your order is. My husband and I have been ordering from them for many years and I can't believe we are still doing that. Their cakes are pretty in presentation and flavor and texture are good. I have to say , I've had better. It's the service. I just hope that someone else in Blackfoot will open up a place that is more assessable and still good quality. read more

Paisley Cakes is mostly a custom cake bakery that requires several days notice when ordering a cake; however, they do have cupcakes, cake pops, ice cream, and cake of the month (or week) when you come into the store. We decided to try the cake of the month -Key Lime Pie Cake. The Key Lime Pie was scrumptious! A light white cake with tangy key lime curd, graham cracker crumbs and a light creamy filling just like you were in Key West enjoying a piece. It was even better than I was expecting. I'm going to make a point of stopping there to try another piece of cake the next time I go through Blackfoot. I may even end up making an excuse to go that way since I live in Idaho Falls. It was worth the trip. read more

We ordered a custom cake for our daughters college graduation. We traveled from Austin Texas and nervous as to how the cake would turn out. I even asked if we should've called to confirm the cake was ready; it was! Not only was the cake beautifully decorated and highly detailed it tasted awesome. Driving back to hotel my wife said "I would've paid a $100". Thank you for helping make our event so special! The other 5 star ratings are spot on, it's worth it. read more

The best wedding cake I have ever had! Paisley Cakes creates the most flavorful, moist, and beautifully crafted cakes that I have ever had the pleasure of tasting! Don't let the fact that this bakery is tucked away along side a gas station distract you from what all it has to offer! My husband and I were discovered Paisley Cakes while looking for wedding cake shops outside of Jackson, WY to avoid the exorbitant Jackson prices. We were immediately impressed with Lanae's professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for cake. We spent over an hour talking about flavors of cakes, fillings, frostings and she had us try any and everything that she thought would help us make the ultimate decisions about our wedding cake. Not only does she has incredible taste in desserts, she is also a very creative cake decorator, and is very well organized when it comes to communication skills, timeless of replying to emails, and being prompt on delivering the cake on the day of. Everyone at our wedding was totally blown away by how mouth-wateringly delicious the cake! Even our caterer (who bakes his own wedding cakes) even commented on how incredible and moist the cake was! We originally thought that we would go with a traditional almond cake with buttercream frosting but in the end we were so blown away but all of the delicious flavors. We opted to go with a three tiered buttercream frosting cake, each tier being a different flavor including almond with buttercream filling, carrot cake with cream-cheese filling, and chocolate cake with cookies n' cream filling. Of note Paisley Cakes is an excellent value for money and Lanae's team can delivery up to certain distances and for an additional fee. She also offers a variety of gluten free options if you have diet-restricted guests. Overall, we were really impressed with Lanae and her Paisley Cakes and are already looking forward to ordering our one year anniversary cake, the hardest decision will which be which flavor to get! read more

I was so very happy with Paisley Cakes and the treats they provided for my friend's 40th birthday. I let Lanae know that we were doing a Kate Spade- inspired theme and colors and emailed a few photos for reference. Loved what she came up with for the cake and cupcakes! Lanae completely nailed it on the decorations...they matched our tables and colors perfectly. She also responded in a very timely manner regarding any questions and requests I had. I love that they delivered to Idaho Falls, as well! The flavor of the cake and cupcakes were amazing, as well! I over-ordered the amount of cupcakes I thought we would need, and I am glad I did because there wasn't a treat left! read more

I stopped today to try the croissant sandwich. Unimpressed! The croissant very dry. Food items on sandwich barely cold. Really quite nasty. Also purchased a small cupcake. For a place that advertises cakes the displays need to be updated and dirt free. The cake displayed on the cake case is absurd. Who pots fondant ruffles on a cake! In the display case was listed an almond Joy cupcake. It's been there a certain long time. You can tell the chocolate has turned white! read more

Decided to try the treats one day with my kids. 2 cake pops had MOLD in them. Both of my kids wouldn't eat them, I explained they was cake in the middle, I opened them to find MOLD in 2 different pops. Went back to show them and was given 2 new ones and 5.00.= after spending 20.00 in the store. He rushed me out the door. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. And NO I did not give my children the 2 new pops. read more

Paisley did my wedding cake and it was excellent. I had two different flavored layers, buttercream frosting with simple silver scrollwork and wedding flowers tucked in. It was beautiful and exactly right for our wedding. It was a completely painless process, and once I got it ordered I didn't have to even think about it again. Wonderful company to work with. Asked for a cascading cupcake tier with flowers for daughter's wedding. They met with our "planner", worked with ideas, and the outcome was gorgeous. Just enough added color and flowers to match bridal bouquet and theme without being overbearing. Cupcakes were delicious and fillings were exactly what we were looking for. They came in, set everything up, and were professional and gracious. Drop off of their cupcake/cake tier was made easy by their willingness to work with crazy schedules. Thank you for making my daughter's reception even more amazing. read more
