This is a really nice park and is relatively close to my home. You can catch Chief down here at…read moreleast a couple of times a week. He likes walking around the park and taking in the scents. There are 4 softball fields, 2 volleyball courts, covered area with picnic tables, small grills, a small playground for kids, a concession area open for softball tournaments and bathrooms. The fields are well maintained and are host to dozen of tournaments a year. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are not well maintained and I wouldn't recommend using them unless it is an emergency. The other detractor is the size of the parking lot. Under normal conditions, it can support the park guests. But if there is a tournament, the parking quickly overflows into the street and can be a hazard for those trying to drive on Via Linda and Los Viveros. Turning onto Via Linda from Los Viveros can become a blind turn with all the parked cars and Via Linda becomes very narrow with cars parked on both sides of the street. I have also seen people getting ticketed for parking in areas which are clearing marked as "No Parking at Any Time". Overall, this is a really great park. Chief really loves coming down here and walking around and so does his owner.

Access to the pool and center are for residents only. HOA recently in the last few or several years, updated the entire pool area from the floors, showers, bathrooms, outdoor seating, etc. They've added four cabana like sections, an outdoor fireplace and wall with a water feature. It is much more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable since the upgrade. The left side of the community center, there are two outdoor grills which require your key fob to operate. In this section you'll also find the kitchen sink. The counter tops are spacious and generous for prepping. Next to the bbq grills are stairs for the second floor outdoor patio with additional seating. Restrooms are of course downstairs which also require a key fob. I love that the bathrooms are clean and has a bench for you to place your belongings while getting dressed. Now on to the clubhouse. I have personally never been inside in all my years here, so I cannot speak about that part. Overall for my family, especially the kids, we give this pool a 5 out of 5. We love that there is a kiddie pool that always has warm water, a large jacuzzi and large pool. There is plenty of space for lounging and it feels like a cool place to hang on those hot summer days.
