The booked appointment was @ 1:30 for make-up and hair which I traveling from Cali to attend my nieces wedding. The call was professional and thorough, I was asked for my credit card information to secure the appointment ( no biggie), which was surely for one who may be a no-show. I confirmed two electronic incoming messages via text and email which I appreciated they had done as well. The morning of my appointment, I received a call at 8:09 AM to see if they could move my appointment time to noon as the person scheduled to do my services had called out sick. I totally understand we all get sick and I was okay with coming in earlier. I loved my hair, but the wings/cat eyed eyeliner that I requested was how trying to do my own wings looks. I had not noticed how horrible it was until getting into my car, stopping across the street at a shoe store. I looked in the rear view mirror at my eye make up and was like (wtf). I paid $100 per service and did not find the results of my make up worthy of the price. Although I went back inside to have them fix my eyeliner, oh and my eyebrows. I ended up having to fix it when I got back to my hotel. I wonder if the Emily knows how to do wings, and did the person who called in sick the qualified artist and I doomed from the start? I originally had an appt with another stylist but because of my own miscommunication and the recent loss of my dad, I came the wrong day. (I'm really sorry about that guys) I was lucky enough to meet Michelle there working late. She agreed to cut it for me and try to fix it because I had a job interview that Friday.
