In short words, Winward is our favorite place to be and will be yours too…read more We came for a tour and instantly fell in love. Our 12 year old daughter got in the car after our tour and said "this is the place." Within the next week we moved our pony in. We absolutely love Carly (owner and trainer). She's down to earth, understands the kids and always makes you feel apart of what's going on- on top of all her knowledge about horses, their care and training. Our pony is happier than ever and you can see it in her. The other boarders are so welcoming. It's a perfect mix of kids and adults. Definitely add Winward to your places to tour if you're looking for a loving home for your horse.

Every person that goes to that barn, weather they board, lease, or just take lessons is extremely nice, welcoming, positive and supportive. No matter the show you go to every single person will wish you good luck and is super motivating. It is a beautiful property with great field for turnout, a nice and well kept indoor and outdoor arena, clean and spacious stalls, and a cute and cozy tack room. Carly has a great training style and took me from just barely trotting to placing 2nd at IEA National Finals at Tryon NC in just 2 years. Every ribbon I've ever earned is with Winward. Carly has a great eye in choosing the most perfect ponies for everyone. Every horse that Carly has ever found for me has been a perfect fit. This barn is a great place for all types of rides and their horses. Winward is not only a great place to improve your riding, but to also make some lasting memories, and life long friends. So, in classic New Jersey fashion, the town fathers believe more casino gambling, a few hotels, some condos and an odd assortment of softball and pickleball facilities will turn the tide on Monmouth's decrepitude and revitalize the old girl -- basically Atlantic City North. Have you been to Atlantic City? Once you get past the Boardwalk and the Casino strip, the town is an impoverished mess. Springsteen said it best...
