I want to Thank Pat and his crew for a great experience this weekend. I've been going to Paint Pursuit Games for nearly 20yrs now. I can be very critical with my experiences when going to eat, vacationing or what ever the case may be. I will be sure to make an effort for others to avoid a specific place if I feel it is not worth my time or money. That is NOT the case with Paint Pursuit Games, my experiences are always about safety first and a clear understanding of the potential harm this game could be if the rules are not followed. I always have a great time and the groups that I invite normally schedule their own outing within the same year. The price range is great, they allow you to bring your gun but they will regulate it to their specific speed before allowing the use on the field. I'm sure your fellow players would appreciate this to keep an even playing field. Pat has continued to upgrade or modify his equipment to make it easier or provide you with a better experience. I won't share how exactly he did this only to avoid others from using the same techniques or ideas. A paintball fire fight should be outdoors at a forest, with a creek, a village, and tanks at Paint Pursuit Games that is exactly what you get. This past weekend we had a birthday outing for my son.The gift for the birthday boy is a great touch by the way! If I didn't trust Pat and Paint Pursuit Games I would never have my son and those we invited out there for his birthday! I have all the faith in Paint Pursuit Games and I know you will have the same experience. It looks like this will be a yearly thing according to my son. Plus my younger son is already making plans when he is of age. Thank you again and it sounds like we'll be seeing each other again this fall. There are many reasons why I gave this place 5 stars. For one, Pat (owner) has started to accept booking online using a credit card. This made it tremendously simple to create a private event. I've been at this location approximately 3 times now, two bachelor parties and a family outing. The first time was about 10 years ago and all I can remember is having the time of my life destroying my family members. The second, about 2 years ago, was a private bachelor party event. Pat hosted our event with the help of some of his employees, and they were all friendly and exceptionally patient considering we were a large group of guys being loud and sometimes obnoxious. Rules were very simple and easy to understand, awesome bachelor outing! This last visit about a week ago, I threw a bachelor party at Paint pursuit. This place makes for an awesome bachelor event. Despite not getting all the guys I wanted, and almost having to reschedule the event, Pat worked with me to ensure we had a great time. Taking action shots during playtime and a group picture, he sent them to my email so I could do what I wanted with them. We had a great time playing many game types on multiple fields for approximately 4 hours. I will recommend Paint Pursuit Games to anyone and everyone who wants to have a great time. Pat is an excellent host , no wonder he has been in business for so long. read more

I think that the review Mike B posted does not reflect reality. As a matter of fact, it is so untrue, my guess is that he has never visited the field. It misinforms the customer that Paint Pursuit Games does not accept credit cards. They DO accept credit cards. I've seen some of the paintball fields around Chicago and I can say that this is one of the best ones if not the very best field around here. They don't have any inflatables, instead they have real obstacles such as wooden Trucks, Tanks and Bonkers and it is in the woods, they even have a creek and bridges throughout the field. Very realistic environment! Not only that, but they have three separates areas and every one of them is really big, so the teams don't see each other in the beginning of the game leaving a lot of room for tactics, hiding, seeking and so on. This field is really not about shooting... it is about enjoying the game and having a lot of fun with friends. I am going to be there in a couple of weeks again for a friend's birthday party and I am really looking forward to it. P.S. It upsets me that yelp lets misinforming comments like the one from Mike B to be posted especially if he has never experienced the place he is talking so negative about. This is an awesome place to have fun and at a very reasonable price, don't know who this Mike B. from 2009 is but it sounds to me like a back stabbing paintball park owner who cant stand the fact that a person like Pat "owner of Paint Pursuit" is giving him some friendly competition. this is America bub the land of the free to run an honest establishment and not have to resort to a monopoly or big franchise destroying the little guy. This place is private and like many others do take credit cards, make "pay in advance" reservations, and sell their own paint, what do you think they have volunteers instead of employees. Old school you say, Mike if this was old school you sir would be slapped like a B#$%^&H and asked to a duel of a one shot paintball at 50 paces. As i was saying, this is going to be my fifth year going to Paint Pursuit and i have hosted many functions there and at every single one of them all my friends and co-workers have had a blast, asking to return. This is the place to go if your interested to have a good time and not worry about getting ripped off or having to wait long lines just to play some random stranger with a $2,000 dollar sniper rifle. Pros: - Very friendly staff - Awesome field layout - Laid-back and fun environment - Custom pods developed by owner - Thermal Lens mask rentals come standard! (Your goggles will NOT fog!) Cons: - Pot-hole plagued road entering the field (DRIVE SLOW!) - Hard to find field - No vending machines, food, or drinks available I've been to several other paintball fields in the Chicagoland area and Paint Pursuit Games has exceeded my expectations. The field, first off, is pretty cool - many structures, tanks, bunkers, and trees to hide behind. This environment encourages tactical and team-like play. This is a woodsball paintball place - not built for your typical speedball player! Although paint was expensive and the place is not very polished, the exceptional customer service, fun games, and awesome field made up for it. If you have a group of friends to go out for an outing, I highly suggest giving Paint Pursuit games a chance. read more

Went to Paint Pursuit games this weekend for a birthday party and had a great time! Pat and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable on all things paintball! The field is great and has lots of places to take cover. The price cannot be beat! For $25 a person you get a private field, a gun, mask, squeegee, 3 pods of paint and a chest protector. This place is a great value and an incredible place to go with a group of friends for any occasion! I will absolutely be back and highly recommend Paint Pursuit Games! read more

Had my bachelor party here a couple weekends ago. We had a great time! Most of our group were novice paintball players. Pat the owner did a good job of explaining the rules and how to use the equipment to us. The course was nice and in a heavily wooded area. I strongly recommend bringing bug spray if playing in the summer. If I ever do a group paintball outing it will definitely be here. It was very affordable compared to some of the other places we looked at. I even got a free shirt!!! read more

Guess what Nuf said....I own a flooring company which means I install, refinish hardwood floors and been in business 30 years. I DO NOT accept credit cards either! I take cash or money order only. So I guess I'm in the dark ages too. Paint Pursuit--been out there lots of times, had birthday parties for our kids there and we all love the place. Too bad your missin the good times at Paint Pursuit but then it seems you do have an attitude so their probably better off without YOU. read more

We had a party of 15 who all drove over an hour to paintball at Paint Pursuit Games and everyone of us thought it was well worth it and would return for our next outing. The course is huge and well designed while the staff is honest, courteous, and professional. Patrick handled everything from the reservation to the photography and refereeing. We were all very impressed with Paint Pursuit Games and recommend it for anyone looking to book a day of paintballing. You won't regret it. read more

Had 11 year old birthday last weekend. Great staff. We had a great time. The course was very large wooded with many structures. The equipment worked well and they were ready with replacements when there was a problem. I feel that people should take responsibility for not gathering all the information before arriving. They were honest and provided me with all the costs and fees. Over all awesome and will be back. read more

We celebrated our son's 12th birthday at Paint Pursuit Paintball and had a blast. We had a mixture of ages and experience so it was great that we were able to have the field all to ourselves. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. We will definitely be there again! read more
