He began doing smaller jobs for me - stripping and sealing stairs, painting rooms and troubleshooting a temperamental oven - and ended up putting my upstairs together after mold remediators demolished much of it. TJ and his crew put up walls, rebuilt window frames, added trim, hung lights, tiled my shower (beautifully!), built a linen closet, added an attic platform and a pull-down staircase and even built an oak vanity to fit my small bathroom. For years I'd deferred much of this work because I knew no one truly capable of or interested in dealing with such a wide variety of issues/tasks. Once I found TJ and realized how versatile, capable and meticulous he was, I had him do just about everything. My house is now shipshape. TJ takes much pride in doing a thorough and beautiful job. He's very communicative and often told me his main goal was that I was happy with his work. On top of that, TJ and the people in his crew were all genuinely lovely and easy to have around my home.

Received a quote via text message after Loris looked at what I needed done. The text message quote…read morewas provided as follows: Bathroom ceiling 3'x6' feet sized $240 (labour $180, materials $60) Living room wall: $400 (labour $280, materials. Loris kept on asking me for a hug which made me feel awkward and intimidated. I was lucky I stopped him from removing the bathroom sprinkler head on bathroom ceiling. It would have caused a major disaster flooding my condo as well as numerous condo units. I should have stopped him when I was stressed and told me if I did not trust him to leave. I should have told him to leave. There was no painter's tape used in the bathroom or an angled brush to paint free hand. Loris got ceiling paint onto the top of bathroom walls. When it was pointed out to Loris his response was "you are selling and moving no one is going to notice" I told him it will be noticeable (see photos) Living Room: An area of the wall that was already mudded and primed he applied another coat of mud and primer. Next day when it was time to have the wall painted Loris used a colour detection device that was inaccurate. The Manager of the paint store told me best way to match existing wall paint is by removing a small piece of painted drywall behind a socket plate. I kept on telling Loris this but did not listen to my request. He had paint tinted to what his colour reader results read being Barcelona Beige. The original colour on the wall is Bleeker Beige. As soon as he started painting the living room wall I stopped him because the colour and sheen were wrong. He told me to wait until it dried. He painted another spot and obviously the paint and sheen no match, I stopped him from continuing to paint. Overall, I would recommend using a licensed, insured, BBB, bonded and insured painting company. A company that provides an invoice, receipt. A company that takes other forms of payment besides $cash in full before a job is completed in a satisfactory manner. Loris wanted me to pay him $525.00 for a job he did not rectify. He caused me so much stress I mistakenly paid him the $525.00 so he would leave. He never rectified the bathroom ceiling paint on top of my walls. After I paid him he returned to the paint store with a paint chip. It was too late I had already lost confidence in his work. He should have used painter's tape and/or an angled brush so no ceiling paint was mistakenly painted on top of bathroom walls. I will need to hire a company to rectify this.

First time residential clean with deb, her husband and company. They had great reviews but what a…read more$200 + tax rip off. I cleaned and decluttered for a week before appt. I had 5 things to be done. None were done except 2 bathrooms. Then they left after 2.25 hrs and left so much debris behind at the front door and carpet that I had to clean up not only before the cleaners but after as well. Their answer was that the vacuum and cleaning supplies left debris as they left. Thanks. You don't come back to check your exit? Wow. That was the beginning of what I found when I came home from their so called cleaning. Excuses: Husband of owner borrowed ladder from cleaning car without telling cleaning crew so they were not able to put the bathroom fan back on ceiling. I ultimately had to balance on step ladder and toilet to get it back up. My husband and I are seniors with health and balance issues which is why we sadly hired them in the first place. Specifically asked for 2 low ceiling fans to be dusted. Not done cause said husband borrowed ladder from car so they just left it not done. Again, we precariously climbed step ladder and dusted ourselves. Notably, there was not even a note to tell us what happened when we got back home from said cleaning. That might have helped explain. Kitchen floors: floors were washed but the kitchen pantry floor was not done. Very obvious that the floor extended there. Ultimately, I vacuumed and washed the pantry floor after so called cleaners left. Obvious dusting was left untouched. I subsequently dusted myself. Main explanation is that the owner has had a long term seriously debilitating illness and should not be cleaning or running this company. She said she was going to get back to aforementioned but was feeling too sick. Case in point, I cancelled our next appt immediately, a month ago after said disaster. The crew showed up today. The worst thing is that husband showed up and told me, "I should call the office" WHAT????? Why would I when there is apparently no communication with anyone in that company. I had asked for a discount but owner said invoice was written up already so could not do it. Honored a 10% discount on subsequent clean. But after our experience and them showing up in the middle of nowhere today, I never want them here again. Beware of this company. That is my own personal opinion and experience in writing this review. If you want to get ripped off like we were, definitely hire them.

Estimate was accepted & he came for pressure wash. But as soon the power wash was completed (not a good job), he refused to provide painting services. He simply refused the other job just for showing him few missed spots (I have a whole lot of pictures of the other areas not cleaned properly). Then he complained about quoting me low & there's not enough margin & i am still complaining. Think logically, you looked at the house from top to bottom, talked about everything that will be done, figured out things & estimated it. I am paying almost $1300 to get this single job done (out of 2) as was promised to me. If it's taking longer, it's your problem & not mine. If you have not done your job properly, i have the right to complaint. You promised, you deliver. He was really upset and while packing up he called his bookkeeper to invoice me & told me specifically that it needs to be paid off the same day. After an hour of leaving my house he texted me that if i don't pay him by the end of the same day, he will be placing a lien on my house for bad debt. Seriously!!!!! He just wasted my time & money. I could have gotten the same service done for cheaper & he kept boasting about giving me good deal. If this business is not aware of the fact, please note customers always get quotes from different places before finalizing a deal. So you were not the cheapest.
