He literally does it all (replacing toilets, replacing floors, treating the concrete, finding problem areas (mold) and replacing it, identify issues (wrong breakers placed in the house), painting rooms, replacing doors.. you name it and he can do it. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). He's definitely reliable and would take care of the job until the client is satisfied. His pricing is also very reasonable. I've only known him for three weeks and has already given him three projects. I'd definitely rely on Illia again in the future.

They covered our flooring and elements that were not getting painted to prevent damage and I can't find any paint spills or smudges anywhere. Our project also involved a lot of wallpaper removal. I was nervous about this because if the wallpaper is not removed correctly the wall can be damaged or leftover wallpaper glue can cause the new paint not to adhere correctly. But it seems they did a great job with that part too. They communicated well with us via text. We weren't able to check on the project in person every day so they sent photos and details on progress. Second house is my fathers, due to his age and limitations his home, specifically a large deck outside, had become covered in slick moss/algae looking "stuff." They've lied to me and cheated me out of my hard earned money…read more I ordered 500 sq. ft of Bruce, high gloss finish, hardwood flooring from these people March 31, 2015, to tie in with my existing floor. I first spoke with the owner, Andrew who told me he'd meet or beat Lowe's prices (1st lie) then he turned me over to his salesperson, Debra. She quoted me $3.29 sq. ft. for a satin finish, $4.65 for high gloss. I ordered high gloss, which is what I already have in my home. After the flooring was half installed, I could see the finish was satin. I called Above Board Flooring immediately, told them I didn't expect the hardwood to be torn up and replaced but I did expect to be given the $1.26 difference in price they up charged me for high gloss. They refuse to take repsonsibility, putting all the blame on Debra, who convienently doesn't work for them any more! I sat with Debra, in her office when she called Bruce directly on March 30, and inquired about the high gloss finish, and they assured her they could do it. I have my original receipt showing that 9 years previously I had ordered high gloss finish, Bruce flooring and now Above Board Flooring is trying to tell me Bruce never made a high gloss. They are refusing to give me the $1.26 per sq. ft I was upcharged for the high gloss finish and offered me only .40 cents per sq. ft. I've been told over the phone by both Andrew (owner) and Netta (receptionist in their Pineville location) 3 different times that Mark Bishop, the salesperson who took over for Debra, would be contacting me. That hasn't happned and I've received no refund. My installation was in mid June. I think they're taking advantage of this senior citizen.
