Juli has helped me on multiple occasions. I've gotten myself into some color dilemmas, consulted several designers with tepid results and then I found Juli. She always has the answer. She is punctual, professional and extremely knowledgable. I get so many compliments on the areas she has chosen colors for. My latest project was in a home with very little natural light. Her selections helped lighten the home and add warmth without making it feel sterile. Do yourself a BIG favor, don't waste time and money with testers, etc. CALL Juli. She will save you so much aggravation. Best $$ I've spent when remodeling. read more

Juli's advice pays for itself. For me...we saved a fortune on sample jars. Julie narrowed it down to 2 or 3 choices for the downstairs. I made one trip to the paint store for samples, painted my swatches then she swung by later and helped us chose. She taught me you can't gauge wall color by those paper samples. She went the extra mile for me. My wife, might have been a bit miffed at me for calling a colorist. Julie soon had my wife won over and the next thing I knew...every piece of linen we owned was spread out on the bed and they were having a blast picking a color that goes with everything! She really understands color, light and space. She also made suggestions for trim and door color. This was back in 2011 (I think) and our home listed and sold for full market this week. I know having magazine-perfect colors helped. read more

I had consulted with Juli about 6 years ago for an apartment building in Dana Point, California that I wanted painted. This year, I finally decided to follow through with her recommendations. We went back and forth via email and phone and she helped me select my colors. I loved how everything turned out. If you want it done right the first time, just call Juli, it doesn't matter where you are, just send her photos and she will help you do it right the first time. I highly recommend Juli. read more

Julie was great and professional. I highly recommend her services. We started with an interior decorator who dragged everything for weeks and charged a lot of money to just pick colors. Julie came over, got down to business, and we were ready to go in one afternoon. If you need paint color help, Julie is your best choice. And the price is right. read more

Juli was very helpful in selecting colors for the interior of my home; she brought lots of samples, considered lighting and existing elements in the room, and took into consideration what I wanted to achieve in the space. She also had a lot of great insights for lighting and finishing touches after I have the house painted. Also helped me in selecting exterior door paint and improved upon a color selection I had already made for another door. She arrived on time and was great to work with, highly recommend. read more

Even though I am not color blind and I geek on home decor with countless decorating blogs, magazines and tv shows...it is hard to be objective with your own space and I needed some help. After repainting the same space 3x and over $300 of wasted paint - not to mention the TIME and wasted weekends painting....before painting my kitchen and finishing up my entry, I stumbled on a yelp review for Paint Color Help and decided to make an appointment. For $75 (since I live outside Dallas), I got an hour of her time checking the lighting, finding a suitable color that transitions well from the other rooms and creates a nice, visual flow. She also gives suggestions on light fixtures, furniture, etc....she will save you time and money on making mistakes....TOTALLY worth it! read more

I used Juli's services to pick paint colors for the entire interior of my new condo. She came with a billion paint samples, and helped me pick out the perfect colors to go with all of my stuff. She also had great advice about what kind of paint to get, as well as advice about what color accent pillows and whatnot to get later on, and tips on rearranging furniture. She answered my follow-up questions via email at no additional charge. The final result looks fantastic, and the price can't be beat - all of this only cost 50 bucks! read more

WOW!!! I had no idea someone like this existed! We recently moved to Dallas, and bought a townhome. While we loved it, the paint, countertop, backsplash, and cabinet colors were dreadful. We had Juli come over 3 times at different stages in our renovation process. She truly knows her stuff. We are so happy with her recommendations. She chose colors I wouldn't have considered, and all are absolutely perfect!! Thanks again Juli for all of your help!!! read more

Juli was on time and very prepared for the visit. She looked over my house to get an idea of the colors I liked. This saved time. She is very interested in light. She wanted to make sure the color that was selected could stand up to the light going into the room. We went through a small number of choices. She is so good we didn't have to go through many different colors. Her idea for the right color was never on my radar. It was different and as suggested I purchased a pint, put it on a large white poster board. It is now my choice for the room. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with the perfect color for their room. I needed a professional and Juli is certainly that. She is patient and very helpful. I am asking her to return when I am ready to paint the outside of my house. Sharon S read more

I had spent about $100 on different paint samples for exterior and interior paint. Found Julie on Yelp and gave her a call. She worked me in the very next day and all I have to say is WOW! She spent an hour and a half educating me with color palettes, lighting recommendations, testing and finally by getting to know me and my tastes and preferences had helped me pick out colors for my whole house room by room. As well as the exterior brick and trim. She did not even make fun of my current choices. I can't wait to begin painting next weekend!!! Thank you so much Julie! read more

Love Juli. She is very creative and thorough. She has saved me a lot of money in samples (because I kept buying the wrong tones), and in painting. I call her every time I know paint is involved. She has her binders and wagons of colors. She just walks to room, listens to your desires and then recommends colors that take into account your furnishings, your desires, the lighting in the room, etc. She also recommends other things to update a room if you are not doing the designer thing, which many of us cannot swing financially. She is wonderful and very, very affordable. Love her! read more

After months of searching for the right color for our house, my husband and I felt defeated. None of the colors we liked looked good with our lighting. I finally broke down and asked for help. I found Julie and she did an amazing job picking out our paint color for the whole house! She also helped with the type of light bulbs we needed to have a bright and natural look. Julie was always responsive when I had additional questions. I cant thank her enough. Our house is finally perfect! read more

I chose paint colors that I strongly disliked in our last house. Because we did not have the funds to repaint the whole house, I lived with my mistakes for eight years. With our new home, I just had to get it right this time. I was driving my family, friends, and myself crazy trying to pick gray paint!! Who knew how tough gray paint can be with all of the undertones? I wish I had met Juli from PaintColorHelp.com sooner, but I am just glad I met her before it was too late. When Juli entered my life, I had already tried several dozen swatches of gray paint, hired another paint consultant who was less than helpful, and lost countless hours of sleep worrying about choosing the wrong paint colors again. Juli really listened to my needs and concerns and by the end of our appointment, we had all of my paint colors picked for the entire house. Juli even worked with Sherwin Williams to tweak a formula that is now the main color in our entry and living areas. Our paint contractor saved the custom formula and plans on using it again for any clients who are looking for that perfect warm gray that does not go blue, green, or purple. Having worked with another paint consultant, I can honestly say Juli is in another league with her knowledge of paint colors and formulas combined with her empathy for her clients' needs. My husband said Juli is worth her weight in gold because she saved us a lot of money by selecting the right colors for our home. All of our colors coordinate perfectly while giving each room its own personality. We always get compliments on our paint colors, and more importantly, we LOVE all of the colors. For anyone who is struggling with paint colors, I would HIGHLY recommend Juli. Do not go through the stress and wasted money and time on paint samples like I did. read more

I would love to keep Juli my own secret, but I simply can not! I want to shout from the roof and tell you how GREAT & HELPFUL (and FUN) Juli's service was for us! You know how easy it is to be overwhelmed by the paint sample cards at the store! Well imagine all of those colors "cataloged" together to make sense? Love Juli's great eye for cohesiveness and her great ideas of how to complement and not compete with the items you already have in your house! She is BEYOND knowledgable and her advice is so VALUABLE! read more

We were repainting an entire house, and took advantage of Juli's services, as suggested by our painting contractor. We are so happy we did, as she saved us from some very expensive mistakes in color choices. Picking paint colors is no easy task; but Juli made it easier, and we're very happy with the results. Thanks, Juli!! read more

I can't tell you how satisfied my fiance and I are with the service that Paint Color Help provided to us. We just moved into a new house and were very dis-satisfied with the previous owners choice of paint color throughout the majority of the house. We hired Juli Roland from PaintColorHelp.com to help us choose paint colors for each room of our house. Juli was extremely patient with us, taking her time going through each room suggesting paint colors that fit our overall style. The results, blew us away!!! We couldn't be happier with the outcome of each room and highly recommend Juli Roland from PaintColorHelp.com. read more

I have to say it has been a struggle trying to pick out a paint color for the entrance hallway in my home. I was looking at so many different colors it was becoming overwhelming. I am not from the area but came across Juli's information and decided to reach out to her. She had been extremely helpful in suggesting colors that would compliment the rest of the home, and provided a lot of useful information. We were planning on repainting our home did not know where to start. Having somebody like Juli in Dallas is really nice. She came home and helped us pick all our colors - for walls and cabinets. When you are spending all this money on the paint job, investing a few hours with Juli is well worth your investment. It saved us a whole lot of time as well. Her services are very affordable and worth every penny. We are glad we found Juli and we now have a beautiful home and love the results. Thank you Juli. Would highly recommend her to anybody interested in picking colors for paint/tiles/cabinets/accents. read more

I recently had the main floor and upstairs hallway of my home painted with a fairly bold color. While I was happy with the results, I was apprehensive about selecting some neutral colors for the remaining rooms that still coordinated well with the existing color in the hallway I was looking for a reasonably priced hourly service that focused on assisting with color selection. After seeing the earlier reviews posted here, I contacted Juli and she stopped out a few days later. She arrived loaded with samples and offered many observations, suggestions, and tips while never making me feel that she was pushing her own style choices on me. She even provided suggestions regarding some lighting changes that I mentioned I wanted to make, and followed up later by sending me e-mails with links to fixtures I might want to consider. All-in-all Juli provided a lot of great help for only $85. I believe the cost is even less if you live closer to Dallas than I do. Definitely money well spent! read more

Juli is simply AMAZING! I recently consulted with Juli because I was becoming frustrated with selecting paint colors for painting an entire house. Her expertise is invaluable. You give her an idea of colors you are thinking about and she has all of the necessary tools needed to help you make selection that's best given other factors in your home. I've wasted time, energy and money on paint samples by not calling her sooner. I'm working on a kitchen remodel and Juli recommended a color for my cabinets that will work much better than the current design plan. She also helped me a pick carpet color that would work with chosen paint colors, and her opinion on some other desired remodeling projects will save me money. When you leave Juli, you have a roadmap on where to start and a narrowed selection of what to sample. Plus, you can reach her by phone for a period of time to continue asking questions. All it takes is a few minutes with her, and you will begin to better understand why certain colors work or do not work in your space. Did I mention my roadmap? I now have a list of all that we discussed to sample. These are things that will work and it's just a matter of preference. She will save you days and months of frustration. If you have a paint project, I would start with Juli. read more
