Dr. Carroll is the best. Listens carefully and fully explains everything. His staff is welcoming and efficient. Highly recommended.

Avoid this group at all cost!! Or at least the one in New Braunfels. My doctor left this place…read moreDecember 2024. First off, you get what you pay for as far as the office staff is concerned. You call and you are on hold forever. Then when you do finally talk to someone they #1 don't care or #2 they don't care! I just saw my doctor maybe 3 weeks ago, right before he left. I did my due diligence as a patient. On 01/07 I requested a refill until I can establish a new doctor, they denied it unless I made an appt. They scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out mind you and approved the refill only to deny it the next day. So because of their incompetence and lack of caring, I now have to go without my medication until I find my doctor. I take this medication because I need it!!! This place doesn't care about you, your family or your health. GREED!!! That's all it is............So if you've had a bad experience with this group as well, Please take the time to write a review. Because it matters!! Maybe increase the pay at PAK Medical and things might get better.

This literally starts at the front door with the medical receptionist and team Jessica R. I am very thankful they are in this area to care for us when needed. They are great to Veterans across the board and Dr. Stanhope is one of the most kind and understanding primary care Dr.'s I have experienced. Their hours are very fitting and the staff is always available during that time. The Doctors, nurses & staff are professional and very thorough. Pak Medical Group you get five stars from my family and I. Please continue doing great things for Veterans and the community here in San Marcos, TX. I definitely can say I'm honored and feel like family and always being rendered the best care. Respectfully, Mr. Swims

Physician Asst Tim Metcalf was working and attended to me. I had an eye issue where my eye was in pain and closing. One's eyesight is so important that I decided to seek immediate help. The problem was that is was a holiday. Fortunately, this urgent care was open. Physician Asst Metcalf immediately diagnosed the issue, wrote a prescription for an eye ointment, and related it would clear up in a few days. It actually did. I would return here, being pleased with the intake paperwork, intake staff, and CERTAINTY Tim Metcalf.

You are encouraged to complete it at home, then go to the Urgent Care. In my case, I completed it there, believing that I could secure a better place in line. Regardless, it didn't matter. P.A. Rachel Gregory was my attending. She was very thorough, X-rayed me in a timely manner, and I left with a wrist support device. I thought all was smooth, although I haven't been through billing yet. I held off on my review for several weeks to ensure all was okay in billing. If not, I'll update. I used Medicare with a Supplement, which they readily accepted.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Fischer…read more She has been my son's pediatrician since the day he was born, and now--four years later--we're still with her. Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful. She remembers the little things, the big things--everything. To this day, if she's not available, I will reschedule or skip the appointment altogether. That's how much we value her. And honestly, we plan to continue seeing her until we physically leave the state. No one else compares--she's set the bar so high that I'm not sure we'll ever find another provider quite like her. If she ever left the practice, I'd follow her without hesitation. Dr. Fischer, thank you for being the kind of doctor who doesn't just care for your patients--you love them. You've made a lasting difference in our lives, and we're forever grateful. With heartfelt appreciation, Genesis' Mom
