When we asked to open it to check the condition before buying, we were initially told no. A supervisor then assured us it was "brand new," even though it had clearly been opened and re-taped. We were eventually allowed to open it, and it was damaged inside. There was even a Target clearance sticker on the bottom, suggesting it had likely been returned previously. It was not in new condition. What's disappointing isn't that it was damaged. That happens. What's disappointing is being told it was brand new and being discouraged from inspecting an item at that price point. For nearly $70 at a thrift store, customers should be able to see what they're buying. Transparency matters. This is the only Goodwill in the area, so I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and does better.

Following it would have compromised the integrity of the septic tank since the location was in a low lying area prone to flooding. If not for his insistence and prior experience to relocate the septic tank to higher ground, it prevented a future catastrophe from happening. Two, my lot is in a flood zone and as such needed to be strictly adhered to by Fema protoco. I hired survey engineers to measure the exact level of excavation required and Alani followed them to the letter. I doubt anyone else would have gone the extra mile he did to make sure that it met all the government requirements. Do I recommend Alani? One 1 hundred percent!

This is a cute little museum. It's very casual with a kind of laid back/hippy vibe. They sell local…read moreart and jewelry. They have delicious ice cream made in hilo. The kids loved the mango and my mom loved the kona coffee. I had a shake with lilikoi that was very good. It's in the middle of the town center and there's parking behind the building. You can swing in and take 15/20 minutes for the museum (which runs on donations), then grab some ice cream and mosey down the town center. A very laid back way to explore.
