Dabei hat Architektin Eunho Kim den Madang umgestülpt: der Übergang von den Wohnungen in den Innenhof wird durch die umlaufende massive Holzbank symbolisiert, in Korea Tötmaru genannt, die Eingrenzung des Innenhofs. Im Zentrum steht der massive Holztisch, der für das Pyonsang steht, den Platz um sich auszutauschen, zu besprechen, zu erörtern, Spaß zu haben und natürlich zum Essen. Und wie in Korea der Bewohner nachts in den Sternenhimmel aufblickt und einen guten Tag in Frieden ausklingen lässt, leuchten im Okims kleine Kugeln an der Decke. As a singleton, I got seated with a table that included a couple from Swabian area and a local gent that spends half his year in Spain. It was nice to have people to chat with and they were very patient with my German (as most Germans are). I ordered the Wiener schnitzel and an Augustin Dunkel to start. The beer was very good and the massive fresh schnitzel was equally so. I wasn't sure I'd have room for dessert, but as I was on a mission that I could not fail... I ordered the small potion of Kaiserschmarrn. It was still quite generous and it's times like these another dining partner would be helpful. They were little fluffy pillows of pancake, lightly dusted with powdered sugar with plump raisins in and around each pillow. There was a small dessert glad of homemade applesauce that was so thick. It reminded me of a good apple butter. There were also some pecans livers on the plate and in the applesauce.. I was very full and happily satisfied by the end of the meal.
