I've dealt with several issues while living here. Early on, I had ongoing battles with roaches and eventually got the problem under control, but I've continued to hear other residents complain about roach infestations.
Parking is extremely difficult. Guests are often forced to park on the street or risk being towed, which creates unnecessary stress when having visitors.
Management charged me a $200 fee for a small portable camping washer that was stored in my bathroom and not in use. I received no prior warning, and the amount of the fee was never clearly disclosed in my lease, addendums, or rent documents.
Another major concern was the increase in my monthly water charges. The amount I was paying increased without my authorization, effectively raising my monthly housing costs during my lease term. I was never given a satisfactory explanation for why the increase occurred or how the new amount was determined.
Maintenance also removed my filtered shower head without explanation. In addition, there have been frequent water outages with little or no notice, which has been very frustrating and inconvenient.
Another issue is the constant noise. There seems to be loud music or events almost every night, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful living environment.
Overall, management appears more focused on finding reasons to fine residents than on addressing resident concerns. Between the roach issues, parking problems, unexpected fees, increased utility charges, water outages, and excessive noise, my experience has been disappointing. I have given my 60-day notice and will be moving out. Prospective tenants should carefully review all policies, fees, and utility charges before signing a lease. read more
