This time I got a trim + curlier perm done and I'm very happy with the results! Total time it took was around 4hrs sitting on the chair so if you're planning to get more than just a haircut, manage your time expectations! I think the majority of the hairstylists speak only Mandarin so if you're looking to book I do think it's more beneficial to you if you understand at least a little bit. Otherwise though, there are translators available who can help you convey what you want. In these cases, make sure to have multiple reference photos available as well as asking your hairstylist what is possible/what would suit your face shape. The more you talk the better it will be for you. They are also very busy so you may often experience them multitasking while working on your hair + assistants helping out your hairstylist. Other complimentary things offered that I enjoy: - drinks and snacks - hair wash + head massage + hot towel (although the massage and hot towel were not done this past visit) - explaining the best way to style my hair
