The Print Center - Embroidery services for hats and flats

    The Print Center

I came here for reprinting business cards. The Print Center was close and despite them being more…read moreexpensive, I figured that we would support a local business. Unfortunately, the finished product was not as expected and candidly not even usable as the print size on the card was drastically smaller than our original card and not readable to many, especially our more senior clients. After paying $75 for design services and an additional $205 for 2500 business cards, I expected to at least have a product that I could use. When my dissatisfaction was brought to the attention of the Print Center, I was told by management that the size of the print was necessitated by the information on the card and that adequate size of print was purely an opinion. I find this excuse really was just an excuse because the information on my original card was no greater than the new card. Other printers that I have now consulted suggested that I give the Print Center the opportunity to make this print job right. Unfortunately management merely offered me 15% off of my next order. I feel strongly that more could have been done to address an inferior product in which staff could have done better to both manage expectations and deliver a better product. As such, I urge others to find a different option for printing services.

So I found this place on Yelp and decided to set up an appointment. Once at the the appointment I…read moreexplain to Lily(the graphic designer) that I'm just opening up my business and I'm looking for help on creating an eye catching business card. She starts off by showing me business cards she already has and basically tells me we can just use the same template and input my information. I decline this offer since like I already stated before, I'm looking for a fresh new idea. Long story short Lily had no ideas for me so I then ask for a piece of paper and begin sketching some ideas. Later that day she emails me an invoice for 156$ for the graphic design( keep in mind she designed nothing for me, I drew everything out). I still pay the invoice because I'm looking to do business and I need business cards and also I'm thinking she's going to make my idea better and it'll work out. 2 weeks later I hear nothing from her so I email her for a preview of what's been designed and she sends me over the exact thing I drew on the paper nothing different nothing better. I understand the idea was mine however why was then I charged a graphic design fee if she didn't design anything for me ? I email her back and explain I don't like it and I feel like we should change it. She then emails me back and says that's fine but there will be another graphic design fee. Once she told me that I realized this place does not do any real designing of they're own. They take pictures from shutter stock and just copy and paste. I completely don't agree with that and advice any one who is potentially looking to do business here to go else where. No creativity, no good clear communication and honesty feel like they're just looking for any excuse to charge. You're better off using an online sight that you upload your own image from shutter stock and input your own information.

Her artistic abilities are beyond words! It's as if she had read my mind and was able to create exactly what I was wanting! To top it off I asked for an additional piece after a beautiful bridal shower my family had for me and I wanted to incorporate a poem my aunt wrote. Without hesitation, Dania was able make my thoughts and ideas come alive! She is truly a gift to the art world and so incredibly easy to work with! She maintains good communication and provides sketches for feedback, although right from the start they were perfect! We just can't thank you enough!!! If you are wanting some truly original chalkboard art, look no further! I promise you will not be disappointed!! Cheers! Reanda and David

Not only is she an incredible artist (seriously, I think we may hang the chalkboard on the wall downstairs it is so beautiful), she makes the entire process a complete breeze. She asked to see our other wedding items prior to starting work, talked to us about our vision for the event, and provided us with recommendations on where to source a chalkboard and what size would work best. She completed an outline to approve a few days before completing the final version, so we knew what to expect. Yet that didn't stop us from being blown away when we picked up the final. Will definitely hire her again.

When I first reached out for a quote, Mustafa responded the very same day with professionalism and warmth. Once my design was ready, I stopped by the shop, and he immediately began reformatting my files right in front of me, making sure every detail was perfect for print. That level of care and attention is rare! It showed how much pride he takes in his work and how much he values his clients. As a designer I am highly focused on quality and value and the turnaround time was incredibly fast -- about two and a half to three days -- and the quality was outstanding. We chose a magazine-style paper for the obituaries, and they came out absolutely beautiful. There was a small hiccup with the printer on the first batch, but what impressed me most was how Mustafa handled it. Without hesitation, he took full ownership, explained the issue, and reprinted everything perfectly by the very next day. That kind of integrity and commitment to excellence is what truly sets this business apart! When we handed out the obituaries at the funeral, everyone loved them! It meant the world to me and my family to have something so beautifully made to honor my grandmother's memory. Sunlight Graphics is hands down the best print shop in Sacramento. The quality, professionalism, and personal care they provide are unmatched. From now on, this is the only place I'll be using for all my client and printing needs. Thank you, Mustafa, for your kindness, your quick turnaround, and for treating this project like it mattered to you personally. You truly made a difference!

Two vehicles from Fast Signs were parked, with one obstructing two spaces, including a handicap spot. Despite other available spaces, they chose this inconsiderate parking. When I confronted them, their response was dismissive, which was disappointing. It's disheartening when accessibility is disregarded. Their excuses were inadequate and illegal. No one should block handicap spots, and their lack of concern is unacceptable. When I called the store, the woman's attitude mirrored the workers', offering a half-hearted apology and weak excuses. It's clear they prioritize convenience over the needs of others, especially those with disabilities. I urge everyone to consider alternative businesses that prioritize respect and accessibility. I don't care what your excuses, you're an asshole if you block a handicap parking space for any reason. The only exception to ever block a handicap parking space is if it's an emergency vehicle. You have to be a real lowlife to do this sort of thing, there are no excuses ever for this sort of behavior. When I confronted them, they told me I could've asked them to move their van, but I had to explain to them that I shouldn't have to ask them to move their illegally parked van, and that many people who are disabled, would not have the courage to say something to them, because they might feel intimidated . Screw these guys and screw Fast Signs!
