Well, I never thought I'd see the day that I would write a review for a funeral home, but that just…read morespeaks to how impeccably Nolan Fidale handled the arrangements for my father-in-law. It all started after my father-in-law passed away in his home after being on hospice. Two burly men from Nolan Fidale showed up at 10 pm (in full dress suits) ready to take his body away. They explained everything to us as they did it (we are moving him here, then we will put him on this stretcher, etc.). When my husband had a moment as he watched them haul his dad off the bed, they paused and asked if it was OK to proceed. They were very aware of the emotions of the people in the room and were extremely sensitive to them. I was not involved in the family meeting the next morning to talk about all the details of the funeral, but when my husband came home he couldn't speak highly enough of Andrea and the service that she had provided that morning. When it came time for the family viewing, I started to understand what he was talking about. The staff was extremely accommodating - holding every single door for us, ushering us along to different places, making sure we had plenty of ice water, tissues, and generally anticipating the needs of the family. Andrea did an excellent job of explaining to all of us what to expect and also gently asking us how we'd like to handle various things. For example, we had to decide if we wanted to donate the flowers to an elderly facility, bring them to the church, or take them home. Andrea got answers to all of the important questions while not being overbearing or insensitive to our grief. During the day of the services the staff handled everything beautifully, once again. While everyone was inside for the viewing, they put flags on all of the cars in the lot so that we'd all be ready for the funeral procession. While we were in the church, they took them all off. Little things like this meant so much to us, because we didn't have to think about any of this stuff, and it was clear that the staff at Nolan Fidale knew exactly what they were doing and they run an extremely efficient operation. During the church services, the staff at Nolan Fidale stuck around and acted as personal concierges to us. I mean, I really can't describe it any other way. At every point, someone was there, answering questions or directing us what to do. They even were directing people to the bathrooms in the church! I also noticed that Andrea shed a few tears during the church service, which I found touching. She clearly hasn't been hardened by this job, or desensitized to death to the point that she's cold and unfeeling. I really respected her ability to be direct and organized while still exuding so much empathy and respect for the grieving process of the family. Truly I can't say enough good things about this funeral home. They've thought of everything. I mean, their bathrooms have mouthwash dispensers!! They even arranged all of our photos for us and then packed everything up and delivered it back to the house for us once everything was said and done. A+ service from Nolan Fidale. A beautiful property, with beautiful people, and beautiful service.

Top Notch Service!…read more I've been meaning to write a review for Nolan Fidale for months now. You never really expect to write a review about a funeral home or funeral services, since the need to use this type of service only happens rarely in one's life. Aside from losing my mother in late 2022, the experience of dealing with Andrea and her professional staff was as pleasant as I could have imagined. At the moment my mother passed, I contacted Andrea at Nolan Fidale at recommendation from my sister. Andrea immediately offered her condolences, was kind, warm, helpful and informative during our first call. She dispatched her team to pick up my mom immediately. Once they arrived, they were so kind, patient and professional. After dealing with having my mother being picked up by the Nolan Fidale team, Tim took over and handled our arrangements. I can't begin to describe how easy this process was, albeit painful, dealing with Andrea and then Tim. He was delightful and professional at every step throughout the process. Tim guided dad and me through the process of cremating my mother and crafting a wonderful memorial in her name. This was the proper way to say goodbye to mom, for now, and to remember her life and legacy for what it was and what it will be. I can't recommend Nolan Fidale enough. Their dedication to providing compassionate and seamless service is unmatched.

Based on my father's military service, she thoughtfully suggested and handled the arrangements for a military funeral including folding of the flag and playing Taps. The visitation was truly a celebration of life with many pictures displayed on the shelves and we especially liked how everyone went around the room and shared a memory of my father. There was a lot of laughter and joking which really helped ease the pain. Patrick spoke at the cemetery after the presentation of the flag. The entire service was very dignified and would have pleased my father.

We learned that my brother passed away tragically and to be honest, we had no clue where to start. The rest of our family is all spread out so we did everything we had to do by phone. I was tasked to choose and contact a funeral home for arrangements. A quick google search showed that White-Luttrell was the closest to where my brother lived and had 5 star reviews. I picked up the phone on a Sunday morning and Jason answered my call. Again, having no clue what to do, what they would need, what I needed, what my last name was, or anything... Jason had such a kind and welcoming presence and it was much appreciated. Jason walked me through everything including what to expect next, when they would receive my brother from the county coroner, when we could expect his ashes to be ready, when the death certificate would be ready, and even filled out all the paperwork for me and simply needed my signature. I couldn't believe how seamless he made such an emotional process. My sister and I showed up 5 days later to meet Jason in person and retrieve the remains of our brother. While there, we were treated with the utmost respect and even humor, cause that's how my siblings and I have always been, laughing at all times (it's a great way to keep from sobbing 24/7). It was a fast visit. Jason had all the paper work prepared for us again, and we picked out a small urn for my brother's girlfriend. Signed some papers and swiped a credit card (FYI, cremation services are surprisingly way less money than I would have expected) and were headed out to learn to live with one less sibling. Cannot thank Jason enough for his kindness, compassion, and humor when my family needed it the most.

Unfortunately, in May of this year, I lost my husband and had a more personal experience with Matt and his staff. I can't even begin to say how much comfort Matt and his staff gave to me and my family during the most difficult time of my life. From the very first telephone conversation and throughout the planning and the actual service Matt was very compassionate and went above and beyond in taking care of every detail. He not only cared about our family, but all the people coming to pay their final respects......it was a hot day and they set up a table with cold drinks and goodies while people stood in line outside. I just attended a viewing on a very cold night and saw the same care given once again....... we waited outside in line with heaters, hot beverages and goodies. The caring and services offered doesn't end when your loved one's funeral is over. Grieco Family Funeral Home offers a Grief Journey Workshop, all are welcome. Another beautiful gesture is the Service of Remembrance; once again, open to all who wish to attend. My first attendance to this service was with a dear friend who also lost her husband. We both left with a new feeling after a wonderfully planned night where we listened to a guest speaker, were entertained by wonderful musicians, enjoyed delicious food, shared memories, laughter and tears with others in the same situation. My next step that I will lean on them for is to assist me with a grave monument. Unlike lots of other companies that offer this service, Grieco Family Funeral Home has never pressured me; only offered to be of service when I'm ready for this next stage. Matt Grieco and his staff are an amazing group of people to have for support during and after a very trying time. I highly recommend Grieco Family Funeral Home to help you get through this very hard road that we must travel. Lois Zunino
