Great customer service, burritos are a quick serve a delicious option. The soup is the most popular side dish and great for cold weather!

Heard about this place through Facebook and decided to try it out since it wasn't too far from me…read more Parking was good, especially since it was shared with other businesses. Once walking in we were quickly greeted and the place was very open. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, and ordered the Grilled Cheese for my son. It was a little pricey for just these things, so that was a little negative. Once we got the food the presentation looked great. My son's grilled cheese and fries were delicious. As for the chicken caesar salad, the chicken was a little dry and not a lot of flavor, so that was also a little disappointing. All in all everything was decent. If I ever come back I will try their most ordered to maybe give this place a 5 star review.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon, 8/1/26…read more Ordered the barbecue platter, fried pickles, and a couple of N/A drinks. Total cost with tip -$115. Overall, the food was OK. IMO, better barbecue places in San Antonio - but this could just be a preference thing which is why I gave the rating of a three The fried pickles were over fried. No debating the taste preference on this one! The service was fine, you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. No issues with this and wait time was reasonable. The biggest challenge were the flies in the dining room. We ended up visiting the Restaurant because of a "TikTok" advertisement. After we visited, I did comment and provide the same feedback as above. A few days later, my comment had been deleted. So I reposted again just stating there was no need to remove my comment and they could've just simply replied. Well, the next day the second posting also disappeared. So, I think what irritates me the most is that the owner's/manager, whoever is running the TikTok account, is unable to take customer feedback and provide thoughtful responses to customers providing comments. I posted photo of the second posting that I made that was later deleted. If I had realized they were going to delete any commentary they weren't happy with, I would've taken a picture of the first post as well.

My wife and I stopped by Los Weyes De La Asada while we were at El Camino. I'd heard good things…read moreabout it, and seeing the charcoal grill going outside immediately got my attention. The smell alone made me think we were in for something special. We grabbed a couple of cocktails and ordered tacos, which seemed like the obvious choice. The tacos were good, but that's about where I'd leave it. They weren't bad at all, but they also weren't particularly memorable. With the aroma coming from the grill and all the recommendations I'd heard, I was expecting a little more flavor and a bigger wow factor. The atmosphere was fun, the service was good, and the charcoal grill definitely adds to the experience. I just found the food itself to be more "solid" than "spectacular." I'd rate it about a 7 out of 10. Worth trying if you're already at El Camino, but not a place I'd go out of my way for.

Like pulling up to your primo's…read morecarne asada, the loud one, the one where somehow the music is always right, the grill is always going, and for a few hours nothing else matters. That's exactly the energy at Los Weyes de la Asada. From the second you walk up, it feels alive. Not in a forced way, more like you've been there before, even if it's your first time. The kind of place where your stress, your diet, even your cruda takes a backseat. Now the food. No overthinking needed here. Everything coming out of that truck is a straight up pow pow of flavor. The carne is cooked just right, juicy with that perfect char, and the corn tortillas are legit, soft but with enough structure to hold everything together. I ordered the Mamón and the Chingón, and honestly, both lived up to the names. No misses. And the agua fresca de fresa? That sealed it. They serve it in a little bolsita, which somehow makes it hit even better. Simple, nostalgic, and just cool. It's all tucked inside El Camino, which adds to the whole vibe, string lights, people hanging out, that easygoing outdoor feel where you lose track of time a little.

Have been coming here for years when they were a smaller food truck I love to see how popular…read morethey've become. Me and my husband love late night food runs and this place is perfect because they are always open late. There is never a long wait (as long as you get there before the bar crowds let out) and food is always fresh. St Mary's is a busy area but that just adds to the food truck experience. They will always have a customer in me!

My wife and I use to frequent this place YEARS ago, the service was good and the food was good,…read moreyears later we decided to go back & mannn the food quality & service has went down terribly! Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!
