Yes, up with the times, I liked this much better than the standard clipboard and paper. Unlike most MDs, I was in at the agreed time and was seen within a few minutes of getting placed in a waiting room. MD came in within a few minutes! Exam was thorough and they answered all my questions and concerns. It's refreshing to have a physician actually spend time with you and not rush in and out. I guess it is due to the fact that they seem adequately staffed for the amount of patients they have which is refreshing these days. Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. I highly recommend!!

I didn't have the money to pay right away, and was waiting for Jan 1 to pay with my FSA. Well, at 90 days overdue, they sent my account to collections! Who the hell does that?! I have never had a medical billing that I was not able to pay by 180 days or less. What a terrible practice to send to collections for less than six months overdue. Now I have to come up with the money out of pocket because I can't pay a collection with my FSA. Thanks for screwing me over South Texas Dermatology.

We sat in the car for a long while and they finally called us and put us in separate rooms. An hour later, we were each seen for about 2 minutes, by a fill-in PA. This person didn't even introduce himself, or come near us. We were told the physician had Covid and was out. I understand, but they should have called and let us make the decision whether to reschedule. This PA walked in and told my husband he had to come back for his skin check, there was not enough time this visit. The front office told my husband he had to "be seen" before his skin exam and it takes 11/2-2 hours for a skin exam. I told them it was a skin exam, when I made the appointment. We were both charged our $35 copay and will be billed by our insurance. What a scam.

I understand that, but that doesn't give the receptionist the right to show absolutely no empathy and rudely tell me I'm going to have to reschedule. I understand that I have to reschedule. It's my fault. That's not the issue. I have been waiting for this appointment for months. I have been so depressed over my acne and she just sat there and watched me cry. No kind words at all. Just a death glare and paperwork tossed my way. I'm human, I made a mistake. That doesn't excuse someone from being kind. If this is the kind of people that work here, I will gladly go elsewhere.
