As one of the few small community post offices left open, this is a vital shop in this area. It sells everything from newspapers, through groceries to toys and sweets as well as all the usual post office-type services.
The couple who run it are wonderfully friendly and have made themselves an integral part of the local community.
Opening times are posted clearly on the outside of the main window. Unfortunately, I have forgotten what they are!
The only real problem here is that it is situated right on a traffic-light operated crossroads, with very little chance of safe parking anywhere close. Personally, I walk there, but some do park in the public carpark about 30 metres down Marsh House Lane. read more
