The post office itself is quite small and at busy times it can be cramped. They have 4 cashier points, but I've rarely seen more than 2 members of staff serving at busy times. The last collection time at the post box outside is 5pm (if you miss it, wizz down to West Vale Shops, as the collection there is 5:30pm.) Opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm Sat 9am-12:30pm Sunday- Closed.

There's no car-park -- you have to park on the road outside -- but the road is quite wide so that's not too much of a problem, and at least you can get quite close. The service always seems to be friendly and efficient, even when there are queues -- which can happen here as it gets surprisingly busy at peak times. Service is good and quick and they offer lots of the post office sending services, including moneygram.
