The other gate is a utility gate, opens to 10 feet with no center pole, so it cannot self latch. John told me it wouldn't be a problem to just put a lock on it and tell the inspector it is only used for accessing equipment, boats, etc. The inspector did not pass the gate, said it needs to swing only one way and self close. I spoke to both Stacy and John, I was told he knew what it needed and would be out by the end of the week. That is the last I heard from him. I can't get them to answer the phone. I've been ghosted. I know he was annoyed by having to come back, and I have no issue paying him for additional work, but I'm not the one who makes the Town rules. I've been told by other trades people that a lock on the gate hasn't passed since the 80s. It's unfortunate, I have no issue with the work that he did, he just didn't want to help out I guess. So I am back to square one, my pool is still not up to code and I have to find someone else. I would not recommend them.

Or possibly it's not enough money involved to interest him. Once he's made the sale and collected his money, he has no regard for any of his customers concerns and actually becomes very arrogant and defensive. After getting proposals from 5 contractors, we decided to go with LIMC for the project. Tommy and his son came by twice to ensure the measurements are correct and their proposal is one of the most competitive in terms of pricing. I wanted to have a concrete base for the pavers because my previous patio was set on regular gravel base and had settled unevenly after just two years. The whole project took about two weeks from start to finish. Tommy's crew worked efficiently without cutting any corners. You can definitely tell that they are experienced with concrete and masonry. We decided to go with the Cambridge Toffee Onyx ledgestone pavers with Mocha Border. For the driveway, we went with graphite colored concrete with pavers circle and apron. The result was spectacular. I have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on my driveway. The blue stone stoops were excellent as well.
