The staff was awesome and so helpful & the location Easy to find. . Mike was great and the girl with tattoos rocked, too! Probably not of interest to most, but the kayak seats were very comfortable. Both adults on the trip have back issues and I have an old sacrum injury. These seats a firm foam and super comfortable. We were able to get a kayak for three, which was really awesome as we had a small 10 year old with us. The paddle was great and they have a dry bag for you to use, included with the rental. The highlight was the little island near the start of the paddle. The shells were amazing and the island was only sparsely populated. We saw a lot of birds and a dolphin swam around the kayak for a few minutes- great experience. We did not do a tour, but bumped into them on our path and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to push the easy button and relax. It was certainly worth the drive from Naples. Also, tip: book directly on their website. read more

Had a great time with Cameron on October 6th. His enthusiasm for birds and shells was evident in his excitement to share his knowledge with the 10 of us kayakers. He shared he was getting an advanced degree in marine science and thought us how all the wildlife is so very intertwined. The kayaks were fairly easy to use and as a first time kayaker it was great to get some photos that Cameron took. I did get tangled in the mangroves, but got untangled just as fast. We didn't see dolphins and didn't expect to see manatees as October, it'not the season. Was a good time and I would book again. Pro tip- definitely bring drinking water and yes, they are in the middle of the road and don't have an actual hut. Work out of the van and kayaks are ready to go when u get there. read more

The operators of this company were very unfriendly and one was even downright hostile! After going over the rules and such with the girl (who was not so friendly at first, but warmed up a little bit while going over the rules and such), she pointed out our two kayaks sitting by the water. We made our way over and I got in mine and my husband gave me a push off into the water (we have kayaks at home and are experienced). I started paddling away to give him some room to push himself off. Next thing I know a man is shouting at my husband very sternly and loudly "GET OUT, GET OUT!!!". I paddle back over to see what's going on and ask "What's wrong, what's going on?!". He says he wanted to push him off (fine, but why the hostility??) and then he tells me to paddle back over to him and proceeds to pull my life preserver out of my kayak! Why? Who the heck knows?! My husband ended up giving me his because he didn't like the fact that I had none. Not sure what was wrong with this guy...?? He was so disrepectul and rude to husband and shouted at him like he was a toddler (my husband is 62 years old and very fit & capable). It was so embarrassing. We almost got out and told them to cancel our reservation but we wanted to enjoy our last day vacation day doing what we love best, being in a kayak on the water. We just made a piont to write a review later. The area is very lovely and mangroves were fun to navigate, but I can not recommend this company. We are shocked at all the positive reviews, frankly. The ocean called us so that is where went. I called and reached the owner Brent who said he would meet us at noon with a tandem sit on top Kayak on this Easter Sunday. We didn't immediately find where the meet up was but with a quick call back we were only 20 seconds drive from the destination. Brent was punctual and even had a drop box that allowed us to put our car keys and phones in it so we could continue to document our adventure. After nearly two hours on the waters we missed the chance to see the Dolphins but we had a good time seeing an Osprey and playing in the water. The journey took us through the rich mangroves and snaked through to the inlet into the open gulf. The currents were manageable and we also saw many other Yakers and Paddle-boards sharing the fun under the Sun. Three hours for 60 dollars was the rate and we thought it was reasonable. Brent was waiting for us when we got back and we thanked him before we departed. read more

Two of us had a reservation for Clear Kayak guided tour to start at 9:30 am. Got there a little early and guides were ready and waiting for us. Tyler and Michael were friendly and informative. Tyler took us out, through the mangroves and into Estero Bay before heading towards the Gulf. We stopped to shell for a bit on Big Hickory - beauty abounds! Tyler was incredibly informative and had the answer to every question we could throw at him. He surprised us with an airdrop of almost 40 pictures when we got back, most of which we weren't even aware he had taken. The pictures look professional and caught the feel of the trip beautifully. Had an amazing experience today. At my suggestion, two friends rented boards from Paddle Naples. All went well until one of the ladies got faint and could not fight the current entering Estero Bay. I was able to get to her and tow her to Lovers Key beach. Found a boat that took her back to the Hyatt and they arranged to get her to Coconut Point Mall. In the meantime, Brent had seen that we were in trouble as he was leading a tour. He called the other friend of mine who had made it to safety to see what was going on. She called me and I told her what was happening. Brent picked my friend up from Coconut Point Mall and also managed to get the board back somehow. He brought her to us at the Commons Club beach. Now that is amazing and rare and shows that this company is not just about renting boards, but making sure their clients are safe. Brent is the only person I would ever recommend to my friends. Had friends rent from him before and was very impressed but until you have an almost tragedy do you really appreciate how important it is to rent from a company that cares.
