This is hands down the best pawn shop around -- and it's all because of the owners. They genuinely care and go above and beyond to help when you're in a tough spot. I was in a bind, and they didn't just treat me like another transaction -- they treated me like a person. They gave me a loan when I needed it most, and I completely trust them. If you ever find yourself needing help, or you have items of value you're considering selling or pawning, you can trust these people. They're honest, kind, and truly want to see you get back on your feet. read more

Well organized, great selection, and very friendly! Picked up a bass today for a very fair price. The staff - especially the supervisor - was eager to help me with my presences and yet very polite and patient. On top of all that, the shop itself is very clean with an array of quality items from musical instruments to power tools to higher-end electronics. If you're in the market for used, but like-new, check these guys out at least once before pulling the trigger anywhere else. I couldn't be happier. read more

Just a heads up: I've been to their Pasadena location, and they're charging about $25 over spot for silver rounds and bars. On top of that, they're only paying around 70% of spot for 1 oz gold. Buyer beware. I'm all for supporting small businesses but not ones that operate like this. read more

went in there with fishing gear over $1000. You guys trying to tell me that it's only worth under 200., and yet they're selling old cheap gear for over $300. These people are a rip off. read more

Came in today with the intent to buy a brad nailer for a project. Sam went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the right product, and when we eventually came to the realization that I wasn't going to have everything I needed for it, he redirected me even though it meant losing the sale. Sam is clearly a good, honest guy, and when I do eventually need to purchase a pre-owned tool, this will be my first stop. read more

I used to loved this place until the day I left my gold chains to get fixed. 3 weeks ago I took 2 of my broken chains to get fixed because I was eager to use them again. I'm sure they took up to an inch off one of my chains. In the pictures you can see my chain was up to my manubrium bone (close to my breasts) and now it's up to my clavicle bone (upper chest). When I went to pick up my chains, my mistake was that I didn't put them on while being in the store. I didn't hesitate to call the store no more because a week has passed by and I didn't find out until last night I decided to wear it again. I feel very disappointed because this chain was given to me by my ex boyfriend which I loved so much and lost him due to an accident. read more

Saw a great price on Craigslist for a brand new fish finder I wanted for my kayak. Maria was very helpful and let me put a down payment online to hold it for me. I picked it up a few days later Maria was there and finalized the sale, She had a great attitude and the transaction was a smooth success! Thanks for the great deal and friendly service! 5 stars! read more

Came in to get a necklace for my daughter. Not sure what to get but Maria and Art were very helpful and gave us a great deal.

I went to resize my platinum diamond ring and I told them I needed a size 5.5. It was ready within a few days and they only charged $45. When I tried it on, I realized I was a size 5 and asked if he could make it a size 5. He did not charge extra for having to resize again and it was ready within a few days. Excellent costumer service and I am very happy with my ring. read more

I had an old acoustic guitar that I wasn't using anymore and needed to get rid of it. Most of the pawn shops around the valley wouldn't take it because it was made in Taiwan, but Sam at Pacoima Pawn Shop said he would take a look and he gave me a very fair price for the instrument. I would highly recommend this pawn shop, as the staff is very friendly and very helpful. Thanks Sam! read more

I really liked shopping here at Pacoima Pawn. Every employee was so nice, welcoming, and I always trusted doing business with them. I went in to buy a chain for my Son and I, and we found two beautiful chains that we love! Pacoima Pawn made my purchasing experience less stressful and financially manageable because of their 10% monthly payment plan which I definitely used. You can also call in your payment if you're not able to make the trip over to Pacoima Pawn. This is a place I will always come back to. Fast and easy process. Felt safe and professional. Offered more than other pawns I went to. Very helpful and fair.

Called the shop after seeing a month old ad on Craigslist and got Maria on the phone. She was super helpful and friendly and I discovered that she's open to a little haggling on prices. If you make them a fair offer then you might just score a great deal at Pacoima Pawn Shop! Their shop is on the corner of Van Nuys and Amboy and has easy curb access and parking available. Thanks for my new bass guitar Maria! I already picked up a new set of strings and am looking forward to hearing it on my amp tonight! read more

Very friendly store owner! Sam helped me out and answered all my questions. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Two thumbs up!

The offers they give you are way lower for what your item is worth, horrible business and wouldn't recommend when it comes to customer service, very rude and shitty attitudes, hope they lose their business read more
