I had a pair of high-power binoculars, which I no longer use -- but the shop had no interest in them, not even as a trade-in on another item. Rather disappointing -- but the staff is courteous, even if unresponsive! read more

Sent out a quote to all pawnshops. They sent one back saying that they would take the thing that I was trying to get quoted. Legitimately just called. Talk to a woman who was abrasive at best. She didn't want to take the item. So we asked to talk to somebody in a managerial role. They spent time talking with us, trying to figure out the items price point and then they lowballed us. They blamed AI for their response and then told us they hated AI. I'm sorry, what?! You're using AI to run your business and you hate AI then maybe don't use AI and take from our clean drinking water which we will run out of eventually because of AI. I don't know once I hear a business is using AI. I automatically think that that business does not know what they're doing. Because they're using a robot instead of doing their own business. Sounds like corner cutting and who wants to do business with somebody who corner cuts. Not me. Don't get me wrong. The old guy sounded nice, but just because you're nice. Doesn't mean you know how to run a business. And if this is the way you run a business eek. read more

Came in to get a leather band for my Chopard Watch. Aret was very accommodating and helped me all the way. 100% I would recommend coming here for your watch needs as Aret is a gentleman and a professional. He helped me trouble shoot the correct size as my band was in between 22-24mm. He got me a nice black leather 24mm watchband and made it fit perfectly. Thank you Aret! read more

No comments about the pawn shop, this review is strictly regarding the jewelry repair service. Bad, bad and then some more bad! The guy who does the jewelry repair is an amateur at best. He repaired a gold necklace with nickel weld. A bracelet that was supposed to just resize, he put it back together with the face and back flipped and didn't even weld it back. Overall I'd stay away. read more

I came here to get an offer on my diamond and the older gentlemen who examined my diamond and gave me an offer was very nice. He answered my questions and didn't harm the diamond. The offer wasn't what I hoped but he was very honest with me about what he could buy in the market in downtown LA in comparison to my diamond and why the offer was so low. Great place. read more

I have worked in customer service for many many years so when I see how most pawn shops treat their "customers" it makes me cringe. I was very surprised by The Pawnbroker in Panorama City and their service. There is usually a gentleman who sits just inside the door and greets you when you come in and a representative is always ready to assist you. I especially want to thank Mauricio who went the extra mile for me this month. I had a family crisis and completely forgot to come in on my due date and with everythong going on I didnt see the past due notice they sent me. Mauricio tried calling me at the phone number on file but it is no longer active. After reviewing my account he put my item on hold to give me a little more time before my property was forfeited. When I arrived (very past due) Maurico immediately updated the phone number they had for me and he was actually relieved that my property was safe. He also went over some policies with me to help me avoid problems in the future. Thank you Mauricio! 5 *'s. read more

I went to look for a nice jewelry piece for my GF Was greeted by sales rep Ingris. She was really polite and helpful. She showed me many pieces. I ended up buying a Tiffany & Co. Necklace. Ingris polished it. Looks new! I got a 30% off for Mother's Day promotion. I just got a great deal and a really nice piece for a great price! You should go in and try to get the 30% discount deal before Mother's Day! Ask for Ingris! Ps. The whole staff was great!! read more

This is the place to go to sell your jewelry or buy a guitar! Ask for Cesar. Good prices and good cash for your items!

I felt I should just write a short review. I noticed that they had some 1 star reviews and everyone is entitled to their experience and opinion. I called asking if the had any Cartier Love bracelets and Ingrid answered the phone politely and explained in a nice tone that they do not at this time. So to keep it short I had a plea sent telephone experience. Maybe one day we will do business. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but this place is great. I came in to get some silver earrings tested to make sure they were real. They were so helpful and totally explained everything to me in a straightforward way, giving me good references for other resources, too. Basically they went out of their way to help, expecting nothing in return. Well, those are the kinds of people I like to do business with- don't you? I can tell you that if I need to go to a pawn shop for Anything in the future- I will go here! read more
