Told me he could give me an additional discount if I completed payment. He had been so responsive I paid the remaining balance. Day of move they did not call during the window to let me know they were coming and DID NOT SHOW - although I had called and left multiple messages. After this negative review posted (day of scheduled move) I heard from David almost immediately demanding I take down my review or he would not do the job. He said driver got delayed and my phone number showed as potential spam. Whether it did or didn't, I left him several voicemails with my name/number. No call was unacceptable. Plus he had called me on this same number at least three times prior to move date. I cancelled the job with him and fortunately found a same day mover that could help move the few large items we couldn't lift. I also received a call from David's third - party vendor contracted to do my move. He explained that he had a flat tire and was on his way but it would take 2.5 hours to arrive. I let him know I cancelled with David due to lack of communication and being on a tight time constraint to turn in keys. I encouraged both vendors to communicate and respond in real time to avoid this in the future. UPDATE: Later that same day I received a nice, professionally written, message from Jennifer with the company. She apologized and let me know a refund would be initiated but could take up to 14 days. I told her I would update my review once I saw the refund came through. As of today I have received 1 of the 2 refunds for the total amount (they were on different cards) and she verified both were initiated. While my experience with this company was not good, I do appreciate Jennifer's response and following through on my refund so I increased my rating from 1 to 2 stars. I do hope the best for this business but there are improvements needed.

When i contacted the same individual that helped with the initial claim...he advised the claim was denied because what they submitted and what we submitted wasn't the same...seems hard to believe the manager would submit a an error filled claim without coming to see the damage or speak to us or show us a copy of the filed they claimed. We are not aware of what they claimed..did they include the fact the driver had to make a stop for gas...didn't travel the fastest route because they were told to stay off the highway. That being said, we know the cost of tv drop dramatically. We did not ask for full reimbursement...just the cost of current similar tv...which is more than fair for the damages. They don't fully disclose what's required and please ask for a copy of not only the insurance from the company but also of the vehicle they are using. We will be requesting all of the above in small claims court...we will follow up with the results of the case to share with yelp. Lorenz G Febres

All of the details are on Google and too much to put here. Seems to be uninsured. Ignores claims and has no claims process. Not registered with DACS required by law. Showed up in a uhaul and hired random day laborers. Destroyed, not damaged but completely destroyed multiple furniture items in addition to other damage and is refusing to pay me for this loss. All claims and proof was made and provided in his presence and in writing, photos and videos. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a mover. He clearly doesn't care about his customers or his reputation. Just looking to make money and leave a trail of destruction in his wake. He tore my office desk apart and put in in the garbage saying he didn't have time to take it apart or room in the truck! He bounced fragile dishes and priceless items down stairs on a dolly. Packed my large artwork himself and ruined it. And blamed the rest on the furniture construction. Your job is to deliver items in the same condition you received them. He also seems to have a scam going on where he guilts you for more money claiming he under bid. I noticed other people saying the same thing in reviews. I have proof, rebuttals and witness' for anything absurd he keeps claiming to try and avoid responsibility. This is the nature of the moving business unfortunately and if you aren't insured or capable of handling it then you shouldn't be in business. RUN the other way
