Very good pizza. Pricey but pizza was very good. Came here at the suggestion of a friend who was familiar with them. It's a place I probably wouldn't order from but since work was close by, I had to try. I ordered the XL Bulldog Supreme pizza and from the fact that the pizza was all gone by time I got to it, says a lot. I did manage to get the last piece and was happy with the taste. The price point was a little high but without paying attention to the price I didn't mind it. I did ask for extra ranch and jalapeno so that might have been the up-charge. Pacifica had been a staple for us here in Fresno. I still remember the summer of 1999 and having my first slice back then. I've always talked good about Pacifica pizza to others, especially to friends and family from out of town and cross country. Unfortunately the food has taken a turn for the worst. It doesn't seem they'll ever care either. Ordered several pizzas with extra toppings, which they seemed to not have been added. Said something about it and just got a shoulder shrugged from the employee. Little did I know that once getting home and actually looking at the rest of my other four pizzas, had been overcooked to the point of being burnt. The embarrassment in my face... six pizzas total and two were only edible and yet they didn't have the right toppings asked for. It's sad to see a great pizza place go down in the dumps. I got rid of them and went to LITTLE CESARS PIZZA. I haven't been back to Pacifica since, I've told my friends and family here in Fresno about the situation and they have also started to stay away from them as well since they've had a few situations happen as well. There's a closer Pacifica pizza where I live and would rather travel to the Olive location... since it was the first ever slice of Pacifica Pizza ever having in 1999, but since my most recent sadly event, It HAS BEEN OUR LAST. I found out about Pacifica pizza from my sister. We became homeowners in 2020 in tower district and came to really love the ambiance, albeit the petty crimes now and then. We just barely learned about Pacifica Pizza November of last year. It's because it's further down Olive and can be quick to miss. Today, I was craving pizza, didn't feel like Me N Eds, Little Ceasars or Richies and I remembered Pacifica Pizza. I was able to order takeout on Yelp before they opened and got a medium unlimited toppings pizza, 2 ranch and 2 jalapenos for a little over $20. I really liked the flavor of the pizza, I should have asked them to cook it a little longer because I like my pizzas on the crispy side, but my husband and I finished it all during lunch. The ranch was a little runny so i would get ranch elsewhere next time. I have to remember that we have this little gem so close to us next time I am craving pizza. We are 3.5 miles away from this business. A straight shot from this place to my house. We've been ordering from here for years. 7 months ago we moved closer and have been getting a LOT more deliveries from this place. Now, today, all-of-a-sudden, we are "out of their delivery area." For no reason. The girl on the phone was a total "B" to use for NO reason and claimed the last time they delivered here they "did it out of courtesy" and that they told us "we don't deliver this far." You can't beat the prices and quality of Pacifica. The pizzas and cheese bread arrive fresh and hot. The Pacifica salad is fresh and large enough for at least 3-4 ppl. The delivery is super quick and efficient. I live in apartments that are always hard to find but Pacifica drivers always follow my directions to a tee. The prices are also awesome. We ordered a large pepperoni, large gourmet veggie, cheese breadsticks, Pacifica salad and four sides of ranch for $43. That's including delivery. So very disappointing. My half cheese half pepperoni only had 14 pepperonis on it. Skimpy.. Pizza was full of bubbles. The cannot pop them while It's cooking so it can be a decent cooked pizza. Heads up pizza makers. If you get sauce on the pizza without toppings over it it will burn and look black. Pizza dough has yeast. It will rise and bubble up. They make long metal hook utensils to pop the bubbles as the pizza bakes to prevent the toppings from being knocked off. Maybe invest in one and train cook to use it. Asked for garlic breadsticks to be cooked properly because last two times they were burned and no cheese. Overcooked again, hardly any flavor or cheese. Driver didn't bring any cheese or napkins. After complaining about breadsticks burned again. He called to the store and the manager said that is how their garlic breadsticks are and the manager asked the driver to take a picture of them. Why dont you check your orders before they reach the customer? The manager said next time I should ask for them to be undercooked..wtf? I specifically asked for them to be cooked properly. I guess that's how they are nowadays. They used to be the best. Crappy. Even after explaining to the gal that took my order how the last few times were not good. I ordered a medium sized "Bulldog Special" pizza --basically a combination pizza but with extra meat toppings and the perfect amount of olives and green bell pepper. Loved it and would definitely order again , was more than enough for two people with leftovers. I've had Pacifica before a couple years ago and what I remembered loving was their cheesey garlic bread so I also ordered that--a very good sized portion for garlic bread --lots left over. It comes with marinara dipping sauce (which I wish came warmed up--but it's still tasty) . The bread was just as tasty as I remembered and soooo cheesy in a good way.
