I wanted to take a moment to recognize Alexia and Danny for their amazing customer service!…read more My boyfriend, Rey, received a hot dog that wasn't up to the usual quality. Alexia immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to make things right. She apologized and even made sure he was able to go to the front of the line so he wouldn't have to wait all over again. When Rey got to the front, Danny made him another hot dog without hesitation. He was friendly, helpful, and also provided great customer service. We really appreciated how quickly and professionally they both handled the situation. Rey works in the customer service industry himself, so he truly appreciates when someone provides exceptional service. He was so impressed that he wanted to speak with a manager personally to let them know what a great job Alexia and Danny did. It's employees like Alexia and Danny who make customers feel valued and appreciated. What could have been a disappointing experience was quickly turned into a positive one because of their kindness and willingness to help. People like Alexia and Danny are exactly why we will continue coming back and doing business with Costco. Thank you both for going above and beyond! You are truly appreciated!

Super Impressed!…read more Stopped by today to pick up something I was looking forward to getting a shelving unit Costco had it on display, but there were none available to be purchased. I asked an employee if they had any available he quickly escorted me to the front desk and an associate immediately checked to see if there were any located in the store I was then taken to the manager and he also checked to see if there were any available for purchase ,in the back He said there were seven available and asked if I could wait about 10 minutes while he had his team locate the shelf I returned to the aisle to also look myself to see if the shelving unit was perhaps on a top rack, and I noted two employees scouring the immediate location, and I assumed they were looking for the shelf as well I was impressed that they were on it so quickly and earnestly At about 10 minutes, the manager came over himself to the aisle and informed me they weren't able to locate the seven that were in stock and let me know that more were coming in tomorrow and urged me to take a picture of the price sign with the order information so that I could call in to see if they had placed them out as opposed to making a trip down here again At that point another associate engaged with another team member and was informed that they knew where they were located in the store The store manager asked me to stay in the aisle and they would bring it to me Within a few minutes and associate approached me, asked me if I needed help and thanked me for my patience Wow! How professional and courteous and efficient from the manager and his team ...Outstanding Customer Servive! Thank you! Costco Business Center, North Hollywood

HOW have I gone this long without reviewing Smarty's!?!?!…read more My daughter and I are Art's biggest fans. Every Thursday (which is when Art gets in his pallets of new inventory), she says to me "Happy Smarty's Day!" You just never know what you are going to find here. We have gotten the following items in the past year or two: a brand new Samsung dishwasher (a model that had only been on the market for five months, new in the box for over $700 off retail price!), a Ninja Creamy ice cream machine, Instant Pot lid that turns it into an air fryer, Dyson and Shark vacuum cleaners for hundreds off list price, deck boxes and hose reels for the backyard, a new microwave, an amazing array of plastic storage bins in all sizes for the garage/storage locker...and that's just off the top of my head! Going to Smarty's is our weekly treasure hunt. More than once, my daughter has bemoaned that she bought something elsewhere only to find it later at Smarty's for a fraction of the price. On the rare occasion that something we bought ended up damaged after we opened the box (which does happen from time to time, given the nature of the business of buying pallets of stuff from Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.), Art has always made good and given us a full refund. I am almost loathe to tell people about this store because I want to keep these amazing, secret deals all to myself, but I also want Art to stay in business forever. Thanks, Art! We'll see you on Thursday! :)

Sometimes they don't, but that's typical since Costco rotates items. I like how this location is organized. Things are usually easy to find, and the placement is consistent enough that after a while you kind of memorize where everything is. The store is easy to navigate, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful when we need assistance. I also like that the food court is indoors, although that whole area between checkout and the food court can get super crowded and hectic. Parking can be tough, and sometimes you have to park far from the entrance or closer to the Home Depot/Best Buy side, but again, that honestly feels pretty typical for Costco lol

Having managed residential properties for a long time now, this is definitely the place to go for condo or townhome replacement parts, as this place specializes in apartment-fixing hardware. Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's that's geared more towards home repair, the fixtures and parts here are more specialized for multi-family housing, so it's much easier to look for a faucet cartridge or garbage disposal.
