You may want to call ahead and ask if they are watching movies. They do not want to be interupted. Very RUDE and extremely unhelpful.

CAVES - Martin Logan Speakers

Incomplete and dissatisfying home theater and automation service. Elan is a pile of trash (it looks…read moreand acts like it was designed in 2010). Our home theater doesn't support 4K or HDR and is needlessly confusing and complex in the name of "simplicity". On top of that, they didn't calibrate any of our TV's, they were all left on the standard, out of the box settings, forcing me to calibrate them all on my own. Sorry, but I don't wanna sit in my home theater while my eyes are assaulted by Best Buy TV syndrome. I will give it to them that they did hook everything up in a way that at least works, it just works in the worst way possible. The worst part is that my technologically inept parents had no idea they'd been duped. They bought this massive 4K UltraHD HDR TV, a 4K UltraHD HDR Blu-Ray player, and an Apple TV 4K, all for their home theater that they now can't even use to its fullest potential, because of the limitations of the media server that controls it that Caves installed. The home theater service isn't even good for anything. They install this huge media server that everything is connected to for the sole purpose of giving you this singular remote that controls the whole thing for the sake of simplicity. But the remote barely works and you'll soon be reaching for the remotes that the devices came with so that you can use them more intuitively, and use them how their meant to be used (like calibrating the TV, for instance). So, you buy all of this state of the art entertainment equipment for your home theater only for Caves to come in and install this very limited media server that prevents you from using all of the features that you paid thousands of dollars for. All so that they can give you this dumb remote that barely works. If you want all of your wires to stay out of sight, you're better off just drilling a hole in your wall and hooking everything up to your TV directly, and putting your boxes in a shelf somewhere out of the way. This stupid remote is not worth the sacrifice in quality you'd be getting with a media server. Elan, Caves' home automation app of choice, is a complete mess. It's dated looking, janky, hard to use, and it severely lacks in general compatibility. It doesn't play well with other apps and services. For example, we use it to control our speakers which are installed throughout the house. When we want to change the volume of the music, we can't use the volume buttons on the phone, we can't use the volume control in the app you're listening to music with, no you have to use the volume control in Elan only. This means every time you want to change the volume you have to: open the app (which looks so dated it should be a crime, remember), wait for it to connect and load, hope it actually connects and loads properly, open the zone you're listening to, and finally change the volume using the janky volume buttons. Overall, while everything AT LEAST works, which prevents me from giving it one star. That's the only positive thing I can say about it. The service overall is pretty awful because of the end result, and I would sooner recommend setting it all up yourself, before recommending Caves.

Yep, it's a Best Buy and here in Bismarck, there are not a whole lot of other choices for big box…read moreelectronics. This store is well stocked and loaded with things that run electricity. Televisions, sound systems, computers, cameras, phones, kitchen appliances. I stepped through the computer accessories as I'm needing a converter so the old VGA monitor I bought a few years back will work with my Surface Dock. Uh, that's expensive! As with some things at Best Buy, if you can wait for the UPS guy to bring it to you, you may save by buying from Amazon as I did today. [Review 10636 overall, 404 of 2019.]

While my sales agent/manager Tracy Ackland was exceptional, trying her best to work out a complicated delivery and relocation of a washer, we were not able to come to a perfect arrangement. However, I was assured a morning delivery would be manageable tomorrow. Instead, I got an AI response that my delivery would be between 2:30 and 6:30 pm. This was unacceptable so I called in to request an earlier delivery. 1st of all, your AI service is the worst I've ever dealt with and it took me 1/2 hour before I could reach a human. I should have stuck with dealing with the bot, because the human was clearly less qualified to deal with a customer complaint than the bot. Rude, foreign, unapologetic, unwavering, unhelpful, rude. You have completely inconvenienced me by this and I will likely cancel my credit card and take my business elsewhere in the future. Once again, Tracy was magnificent. Everything else about this experience was deplorable.
