This place has been my go to for the past year. The cost is quite reasonable. The location is great if you frequent the nearby theme parks. I have an odd schedule and they are always super accommodating and flexible. The rooms are well kept and clean. As many times as I have stayed here, I have had no issues. Pacific inn Anaheim Small, cute room. No alarm clock. Modern, industrial, new decor designed by owner, Rick who is so nice. Great hospitality. Bedding was clean but felt like sandpaper. And very lightweight that I needed to ask for another blanket which Rick happily supplied. Flooring looked nice. Hard, cold floors and I forgot my flip flops/slippers. Floors were not clean. Dust and debris in corners, I walked barefoot to and from the bathroom and my feet were fairly black and dusty. Too much light pollution- microwave, night light, smoke alarm indicator, door not fully sealed, curtain too far out to block full light. Not enough hangers (only 3). Had small fridge and small microwave which was nice. Only one chair in room so only good for one person. Plenty of light switches and outlets. This is no Ritz but it works if you just need a place to sleep. I came in March. There were no bugs and I felt safe which are the two main things I consider. The floor should have been cleaner. The bedding was of poor quality but the additional blanket helped. The hospitality was wonderful. I'd stay again if in the area but not without looking for other options to compare first. read more

Pros: Affordable and front desk guy was really nice. Room had microwave and mini fridge. Very close to Knott's Berry Farm and about 15 from Disney. Cons: tiny room. 1-2 people only. If you have large bags etc you're gonna have a bad time. Room was very unclean. Floor was sticky and disgusting, turned our socks black in minutes. Clumps of hair in tub and on one towel when we arrived. Worst was the smell - room REEKED of urine, literally smelled like a public toilet. We stayed two nights but no housekeeping came by to bring new towels etc. Very basic cheap toiletries. Shower head covered in calcium buildup. Could hear every sound from neighbors, loud AC and busy roads. I slept in noise cancelling earbuds. Would not stay here again. read more

I'm not sure why there is a lot of reviews saying the area is decent.. it seemed like a very sketchy area. (Not to mention, the desk clerk talked to us through a "night window" durning broad daylight. What does that tell you??) I did not feel safe. I booked through Booking.com last minute and I regret this decision. I ended up having to pay a cancellation fee. I would not recommend. UPDATE! They ended up charging me the full price of the room!! The rooms are standard. Love that the floor is not carpeted. There is a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The best part of the stay was Mr. Patel. This little getaway is a gold mine. Rooms are re-done and absolutely beautiful! Upgraded and colorful. Rain showers and microwave and fridge. Mike at the front desk is nice, kind and helpful. Pay via third party $80 a night. Check in took a little long. Looks like a shady place, but surprise it was clean. Only problem is the layout, you can see everyone coming in leaving. I recently just got home from a trip to Disneyland and my girlfriend had picked this hotel out for our stay. Usually I am the one to research everything for our vacations, but she planned this one all her own. I decided to look this place up as we were pulling into the parking lot (late notice, I know) and was not excited to be sleeping here to say the least. Most of the previous reviews mentioned cockroaches or bed bugs, broken appliances, and filth. Yikes! Once we got into the room, we did our own inspection and from face value everything seemed okay. All appliances worked and, although the place could use an update, everything was what you would expect. The beds were very firm, but for the low price you pay it's pretty reasonable. We spent four nights here and had no problems at all! The staff was polite and overall the property was quiet. The hotel is in a decent area and has almost anything around it that you would need during your stay if you wanted quick food or to grab a few items. We enjoyed this place and got a great deal on our room. We would definitely return! read more

I checked in but discovered this was not what I expected nor desired so I checked out right away and did not spend the night. It is hard to rate this property because comparing it to more expensive places I usually stay would result in much lower ratings. Here are my observations: $50/night is hard to beat. If you pay in advance you will not get a refund if you cancel or change your mind. The rooms are quite small and they only offer one queen-size bed in each room. The beds are VERY firm. Rooms have a small fridge, microwave, and older TV (I am told they are upgrading to flat-screens after the summer) Towels are smallish and thinner. The soaps I opened immediately crumbled into pieces. You may need to request newer soap. My sink had low water pressure. Management was notified. The neighborhood is not the greatest... somewhat sketchy. The small front desk area has security glass to protect the family who lives and works there. A homeless person was outside in front but the management tells me this is uncommon. Everything seemed clean. 15-20 minute drive to Disneyland, depending on time of day/traffic. It is very basic, simple, nothing fancy whatsoever. Motel 6 quality, no better. And for $50, hard to beat. read more

The rooms were small but decent for what you pay for of course! Got this room on bookings.com pretty good steal for literally a last minute choice of going to Disneyland. The refrigerator & microwave weren't plugged in and when we tried to plug it in it didn't turn on.. That was the only down fall because it was super hot over the weekend and we couldn't keep are drinks kept cold so we kept repurchasing new water bottles =[ But over all our stay was a good stay! It was easy to get to from I-5 and it was easy to get to Disneyland Resort from the hotel. The room was clean and didn't smell. The people were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just the way I liked them, which is soft (you might prefer different). For the price of the hotel, it was a great place to stay for multiple days. This place is so bad! The grounds are very dirty, it looks like people actually live there. Our room was also super dirty. The walls, carpet, bathroom, tile, doors.... I pulled the pillow case to see the pillow, it was full of yellow stains, everything just so disgusting. Not to mention that when we were opening the door to our room, the guy next to us had a hooker leaving his room, I couldn't believe it! We checked out as soon as we checked in. The owner was nice enough to refund our money, he even told us we could stay in the "nice" suites, they were a bit cleaner but after experiencing what we saw all around, we decided not to stay, this place is really bad. read more

This place looked great on external booking sites but it was a huge letdown. The staff was nice during check in as well as when I had called in before arriving to verify some information. The price was great but based on my next portion of this review, would have rather spent $20-$30 more/night for a better hotel. The microwave and fridge were in the bathroom which saved space but causes a lot of problems; cockroaches mainly. The humidity from the shower and heat from the electronics allow them to thrive. We found two of them in the bathroom. We didn't feel comfortable leaving food in the fridge or sleeping with them around. The bed was comfortable but didn't keep us enticed enough as we left a night early. I'll end my review now and hope others have a better experience read more

I had called in ahead to see their rates and they said "x" amount of money, and when I checked in they tried to haggle me for at least $20 more. This is a basic motel. Rooms are tiny. You can hear road traffic noise but it is not too bad. Room has fridge and microwave. Heater air conditioner works great. Restaurant choices nearby are scarce. We booked this place because of the high score on booking.com, but unfortunately, this place doesn't deserve its score. Firstly, the room was not well kept, but most importantly, the sanitation of the room became minuscule compare to the service we received. Upon arrival, Rick checked us in and was very friendly. We booked a room for a few nights because we had plans to go to Disneyland. On the last night after coming back from Disneyland which closes at 12 am, we went to our room and discovered that both keycards had failed. We went to the office and saw their sign to "ring the bell for assistance," and so we proceeded to do as so, we even called them too, but no one came. This went on for 3 hours from when we got back from Disneyland at 1 am to 4 am. We called booking.com to see what they can help us with, and even they could not get a hold of the owners of this place. Eventually, we lost hope and went to the motel next door to get a room for the night because we have a long drive ahead of us and needed to sleep. We explained our situation to the attendant next door, and luckily he knew Rick, and so he called them on their cell phone. We went back to Pacific Inn to get our key cards activated. The lady (possibly Rick's wife) who helped us did not even acknowledge us, or apologize to us. She just asked us for our room # and activated another key card. It was at this time that I mentioned to her that we've been locked out for 3 hours, and if it's ok for us to check out later because we have a long drive back home and needed some sleep. She said we can check out 1 hour later, but I tried to explain to her that we've lost so much more than that because there was no attentive personnel. We tried ringing the bell and calling them for 3 hours, and no one even came out to the front. I remember her exact words as she pointed at me and said, "IT'S YOUR FAULT, IT'S NOT MY FAULT" I was appalled at what I was hearing. I questioned her "how is it my fault that YOUR keycards failed? And how is it my fault that I was not able to get into my room because no worker was present to help when clearly you advertise yourself as having 24-hour services? 24-hour service means 24-HOUR!! Either you give me my refund for the night or you accommodate for the hours that I lost." Finally, she relented. As we walked away, she threw her hands to her head, mocking me as if I'm crazy. She probably thought I couldn't see her from my peripheral view. Initially, we just thought that they were deeply knocked out, but from this interaction, I'm led to think that they just didn't care. They probably heard all those door bells and phone rings, but they just didn't care because she obviously treated us like she didn't care. read more
