Steer clear of this company. Do not rely on any fixed price they quote you and move your business…read morethere. I used them for bookkeeping services not tax work, but their practices could be the same there. I fully explained the scope of the work they would be doing, showing them what the last bookkeepers had been doing. Their price was comparable to other quotes I had received and what I had been paying. After doing the bookkeeping for the agreed period with much grumbling, they wanted to DOUBLE the rate they quoted me, so I had to go through all the head ache of moving my business somewhere else. Also, at the end,the staff would say one thing about the billing and then, the billing department would bill me at their outrageous rates (for bookkeeping). Their work is not impressive either. For months the financials were late and filled with errors, employees paid out of the wrong company, many erroneous expenses that were not on the bank statement, etc. Ultimately after hours of my time finding the errors they fixed them. I guess they just thought I would roll over and pay them double what they quoted me and when I held them to their agreement for the specified time period, they just slapped the financials together. Altogether a terrible experience that hopefully others can avoid.

I had a wonderful experience, and recommend reading google reviews and reviews on other websites…read more Robert Taren did not hold my hand, but he did get me SSDI within 5 days of my appointment. He did what I needed at the time. I'm very grateful, as you can see in my google review. I'm very sad that Sam had such a bad experience, but I wanted to balance that review, since my life was balanced out due to Mr. Taren's ability to communicate with the courts. As a lawyer, this is his job. I took the other steps that he informed me of upon myself, after his introduction to it. Any official subsequent information about SSDI or SSI is done by Department of Social Services or the SSA. Unofficial sources like friends or family are also valuable, and sometimes more up-to-date. I did have my backpay cut into because of this, because I was so poor that I could not afford to pay him up up from. It is disappointing, but not unexpected. But it is not misappropriating to do this. It is called pro-bono representation. I signed a contract, accepting these terms. If Mr. Taren actually does truly misappropriate, it could cost him thousands of dollars, in addition to spending the rest of his life in prison. And perhaps entangling his accountant and secretary. As a lawyer, I am sure he knows this. Just so everyone knows these distinctions. Hope you all have a great life and receive as rewarded.

I was happy to find someone and headed over to her office. After we were finished doing the taxes she then goes to charge me and the quote is now $345. I was pretty surprised and kept it to myself because she did help me do some accounting so I paid her what she asked. This year I'm trying to do my taxes and make an appointment show up on time but I had forgotten some paper work. I told her I needed a little more time to get it she said it was fine but she wanted me to leave my paperwork so I did. Next thing you know I call her she's booked out until after the tax deadline and they can't help me now. I said fine I'll go somewhere else. I find an appointment immediately somewhere else and they tell me the same I'll charge you 180 for your taxes. So I call Linda trying to get my paper work and now she wants to hold it saying oh you had an appointment with me and you have to pay $60. They aren't doing a single thing for me but take my money. I would not recommend her to anyone. She barely tries and charges you like a doctor. Stay away from the tax doctors!
