There are well maintained public restrooms. Parking does get crowded past noon on a weekend. Weather in May is perfect, warm enough for swim wear, shorts and tank however not scorching hot. Super pet and little children friendly. There are also lots of markets, eateries to pack some savory food to go for a picnic on the beach.

From the time we showed up the staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us get into our wet suits and did a quick safety briefing. Our instructor was friendly and really encouraging of everybody. We had a blast during the group lesson. I'm impressed that the instructor was able to keep track of all of us. He did a great job of coaching those who were less experienced and helping them get up on their boards. All in all, we had a wonderful time and will definitely bring more people back here for lessons.

And after a successful family surf lesson in Hawaii we were ready to take on the Northern California waters! Our 9 year old loved surf camp! And we couldn't complain, they spent all day in the water Monday - Thursday and we got to explore this little beach town I love and one day we signed up to take a lesson with them too!
