I found Danielle Capito Photography through a Pleasanton Face Book site. I researched her web site and looked at photos of weddings she had done prior and was quite impressed. Forwarded info on to my daughter & she also was happy with what she saw, so we decided to hire her. Lucky for us, she was available! Daughter & husband-to-be chose to also do an Engagement Photo Session with Danielle. They met at Lake Chabot a few months prior to the wedding, and spent a relaxed couple hours taking photos. It ended up being very fun for them, not a stressful time that photography sessions can be when you are trying to get the perfect shot. We were quite pleased with the variety of poses and how well the pictures turned out. (We used one of these shots on the cover of their wedding program.) All of our contact up until the wedding, was through email. Anytime I would write Danielle with a question we had, she was very prompt in her replies. This scored major points with me! On the wedding day *, Danielle arrived promptly and started right in taking photos to record every aspect of the wedding: people, flowers, cake, decorations, & venue. *Side note~ this may seem silly to some, but on the wedding day, I was happy to see how nicely Danielle and her assistant were dressed. I appreciated the fact that they respected us in this way. (I have been to weddings where the photographers stood out like a sore thumb). About a month after the wedding, my daughter received the edited photos. We all were so happy with the final product. Absolutely gorgeous! Prices were reasonable, service excellent. I had a big wedding party. There were 9 girls and we tried our best the day of but unfortunately we did not get all the shots we needed. She was super open and honest about it but I do wish we had a second person. We are going on a year out of our wedding and she has stopped contacting us and we are missing pictures from a beautiful sunset shoot we had and pictures of the reception. She last communicated in March to let us know of the delay. And I have checked back 3 times without a response. Kacie is a great person but a wedding of 120 and a bridal party if 9 girls and 8 groomsman might have been out of her experience level. I hope to one day get the pictures I have been waiting for but at this point I'm not holding my breath.
