Negatives: no response from certain academic vice principal on multiple occasions regarding academic support or concerns. Over the years, I have to pester with multiple emails to get general questions answered and wait up to a week to get a response (or no response at all!). There is no excuse for not answering general questions to parents, especially with a student who is struggling. After submitting my initial review about lack of academic support, my daughter just informed me our vehicle and her backpack were searched and she had a metal detector on her today. She was pulled out of class for this because Claritin was sniffed out by the drug sniffing dog in our car. Seems like there is more emphasis on drug and weapons policing than academic support. They are using these random "searches" to warn these kids not to attempt bringing drugs/weapons. There was no reasonable suspicion, and it does not warrant pulling students out of class for. It is a commitment to attend there, some families and kids commute long distances and there is a graduation requirement to fulfill 80 hours of volunteering service. Families also have an annual volunteer requirement, plus the tuition expense.

I didn't want my daughter to love dance as much as she does, but here we are -- I'm now a dance mom! FBDC is my daughter's favorite place to be. They have a great facility overall. I have been coming here for a while to support them. Truthfully the prices have gone up a tad lately, but if more people started coming out to the theatres they probably would NOT have to do so. I love their special events that Fandango is a part of as well. I usually don't indulge in their snacks, unless I fell like eating some popcorn so that is NOT an issue for me. Purchasing tickets ahead online, made for an easy transaction to the theater. Seats are comfortable but seem a bit narrow, wide aisles with plenty of room to move around. We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.
