I am absolutely disgusted and terrified by my experience with this company. Do not trust them. Do not let them anywhere near your home. An employee from Pacific Appliance Repair came to my condominium for a service call. Without knocking, without announcing himself, this man OPENED MY FRONT DOOR AND WALKED STRAIGHT INTO MY HOME. He didn't apologize. He didn't even acknowledge what he did. My daughter and my son were right there. We were all scared shitless. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, he just darted out of my house and went next door. It took me a long time to even figure out where this creep was working from. Total silence from him. No explanation. No "sorry, wrong unit." Just bizarre, standoffish, and completely unprofessional behavior. Just because someone works for a company like Pacific Appliance Repair does NOT make them a trustworthy person. This guy walked into my home knowing full well my kids were there. It was strange, invasive, and honestly - who knows what his deal is. Maybe he does this shit all the time. Maybe he's a sicko. I want to warn every single person out there: watch out for this company and their employees. Rude. Weird. And honestly frightening. I have a photo of the guy. I'll post it so you can see his face. I eventually ended up needing Brian's help with the dishwasher after all. He determined over the phone that it might be a faulty keypad component. He happened to have the part already so he quickly replaced it in 10 minutes and tested it. It's been at least a month since he fixed it and there have been no problems with the dishwasher at all. He figured it out in one shot! No more flashing ghost numbers and mysterious aborted washing cycles! This is super appreciated when you have a fussy baby and can't be bothered to hand wash the dishes anymore. Seriously, Brian is as good as it gets. He was incredibly prompt, in fact making suggestions on the phone to help fix the issue with our washing machine. When I indicated that it did not help, he was able to accommodate me on the same day. He fixed the issue in exactly 20 minutes and so charged only half of his original quote because it did not take him long. This is customer service at it's best! TL/DR: Brian did a great job, was great value for money, and got to us quickly (rather than us waiting for months as the manufacturer's repair person did). Would definitely rehire. Our fave appliance whisperer left the area, so when our Samsung (this is important) fridge started having problems, I called Samsung because most repair people won't work on the darned fridges. Samsung sent a technician out to look, but he only solved one of the problem and then recommended replacing an expensive part, for which he'd have to make a return trip. I called Brian to take a look because he came highly recommended (including by our previous guy) and he not only correctly identified the problem, he fixed it right there and made some recommendations for what to do as the fridge starts getting old. read more

I prefer local, individually owned businesses to large shops. Since our regular appliance repair goto man has retired, we took a chance on Brian of Pacific Appliance. He is everything one would wish for: Brian responded promptly, diagnosed the issue correctly and fixed the problem without delay. He is pleasant, polite and flexible in scheduling appointments. Brian is a great washer repairman! Our 8 year old LG washer was making white smoke, and we were referred to Brian. He said it was likely bad bearings and a fairly expensive repair, so we simply went out and bought a new LG washer at Sears. When it was delivered, it turned out to give an error message and wouldn't wash properly. Brian came to the rescue, and was able to figure out what was wrong right away (a disconnected relay switch inside). He got us up and running, and what's more, he was able to get the washer properly mounted on the previous pedestal, which the Sears delivery people refused to do. Best of all, he could do all this as a Sears warranty repair, since is is also a contractor for Sears. On time, courteous, and very, very knowledgeable. I'm tempted to nickname him "the washer whisperer", since he seems to have a real intuition about this stuff. 3 cheers for Brian. read more

So refreshing to run into honest people like Brian. My LG refrigerator stopped making ice, and items in the freezer started to thaw. The unit is less than 5 years old, but when I checked LG's service webpage, it showed me it's out of warranty. I called a place that got a lot of 5 stars here on Yelp, and they told me they don't deal with LG, and referred me to Brian. When he heard what the problem was he said it's probably the compressor and that parts should still be covered under the warranty given the age of my refrigerator. Ice makers are not covered, but the compressor is. He gave me LG's phone number, and lo and behold, parts are indeed covered, and the nice lady told me that they'll even throw in free labor for this visit. LG's technician is now here fixing the problem (it is the compressor, needs to be replaced). I'm so thankful that Brian was so honest. He saved us a lot of money, and we'll definitely work with him next time our refrigerator fails. read more

Brian was exactly as advertised - had a dishwasher that wasn't turning on and he came over and took a look at the pump and immediately found broken glass in it that kept it from working and triggered auto-shut down protocols to keep from burning out the pump. We have had the company service our Samsung freezer which was leaking water due to a clog. Responsiveness and customer service of the company is all you can ask for. While it turns out the issue is more of a manufacturing issue with our model, the company has worked with us to reduce the inconvenience of a leaking freezer by covering us under the warranty. I am giving Brian 5 stars even though my washer was not fixed :( Why? I have a 4 yrs old washer that just stopped working. Called and msged a few places with lots of good reviews but they didn't bother to reply back. I searched further within my area and found Brian. The reviews for Brian were few but they were all 5 stars and pretty much adored Brian for his service. I agree with other reviewers on how courteous and super nice Brian was. He was early for the appointment. Tried many things and came to the conclusion that the control board is dead. That'd cost like $300 to purchase a replacement control board and not including tax and labor yet. I've decided to just use that as a down payment for the new washer and just forget this junk one. Any how, I appreciate Brian for his dedication and being super helpful. The problem wasn't fixed but he spent almost 2 hrs and only charged the diagnostic fee (good toward any labor charge if it can be fixed). I wanted to give Brian extra tips for spending almost 2hrs for the diagnostic but he wouldn't take it! He said diagnostic cost the same no matter how long it took. I hired Brian to help me install a new LG washer & dryer. He was very nice & his rates were reasonable. He picked up the water lines & power cord I needed before arriving, and ran tests on the machines after installation to make sure everything checked out.
