Visited Pachamama today. Was going to get BBQ but the smell from Pachamama attracted me over. Folks were very friendly, asked what they suggest, and Lomo Sattado (steak stir fry) was recommended. A very tasty dish, steak was very tender. Will visit again to try some of the other dishes. read more

Got a great review from a friend & I'm glad I stopped. It was noon on a busy Thursday. They were accurate with timing, saying my order would be ready in 15 minutes & it was in 10 minutes. Everyone from the cashier, to the owner, to the cook was polite and friendly. My saltados con pollo were excellent. The sauce was flavorful but not spicy with big chunks of veggies and chicken. The rice and fries worked well with the sauce. The hibiscus with pineapple was light and refreshing for a warmer day. And the topper, delicious tres leche cake with mangos! We had heard there was a Peruvian place in Cour d'Alene and found this gem. The owner is a sweet lady and her kids help out. Family business. They are very friendly and kind. Service 10/10. The food 10/10. I had a Lomo Saltado. I am Peruvian and that dish was very good and executed nicely. The meat was soft, and the dish was juicy. Seasoning and flavors were spot on; presentation also good. I could have had a little more rice. I also had the yuca frita (fried yuca). It was well done, side sauce was just right, it was a cilantro sauce with just the right kick of heat. Churros for desert, good too. My daughter had the Pollo Saltado (Chicken) and it was tasty and flavorful. She's 6, picky eater; she ate the whole thing. We don't live in the area unfortunately, but this place can easily fit in Seattle, where in its simple and humble fashion, it can take on any Peruvian/Latin establishments there. Yesterday stopped by with a friend and to our delight was treated with delicious food! I got the special stir fried seafood rice and also the savory plantains with their special sauce! I thought it was decent. Some of the portions were smaller on certain menu items. $14 is rough when you get a tiny portion. They are new and I'm sure they are working through the quirks, but it's just not there. I wanted to get punched in the mouth with flavor and it just didn't. Maybe just a lack of marinate that Amarillo flavor it should soak into the rice and make everything amazing. Crunchy, saucy goodness was what I wanted. I'll look at pictures from future reviews once I see that I'll be back. I did like the drinks they offered; those were pretty tasty. The sauce for the yucca fries was good too. read more
