My boyfriend who's a vegan skeptic said that was the best spicy tuna he had ever had. I agree. The burger was a bit soggy so I wouldn't recommend it, but I was glad to satisfy my curiosity. I enjoyed the kid-size pizza. It was a lot with everything else I got tho. We also got the mango cheesecake and chocolate tortoise cake. I liked the chocolate cake better. I wouldn't recommend the cheesecake, but my boyfriend liked it. Also I ordered ginger lemonade and got a whole pitcher of it. I took the left overs to go. I was really happy with my experience. I walked into the store and loved how bright and airy the entire cafe felt. There was a lot of natural sunlight pouring in that made it the perfect place to enjoy a cup of brew and wake up. As I ordered, I was looking around at the pastries and wondering if anything was vegan-friendly. In my broken Spanish, I tried to relay to the cashier if they still had 'vegana' pastries. Her eyes lit up as she finally understood what I was saying and ran off to the side. She came back and presented a Concha Vegana which I happily accepted. I also ordered a soy latte. The latte was creamy and delicious. Perfectly made and paired so joyfully with my Concha, which was soft with flaky edges and slightly sweet. I didn't have time, but I would have loved to sit in one of their outdoor patio chairs to relax and watch the world go by. What a perfect way to start my vacation and pleasantly surprised and happy to know that there is vegan-friendly cafe right across from my hotel!
