This is behind the Museo de Historia Mexicana. It's a $30-40 cab ride from zona Tec. We cut through El Palacio de Gobierno and went downstairs to what it's also part of the Paseo Santa Lucia. There's a few restaurants down there, it's something similar to the Riverwalk in San Antonio but on a way smaller scale ofcourse. You can't miss it, it's right across the street and Krishna is there right above you.
It's a buffet and they bring you a pitcher of jamaica, guava tea to share at the table. I honestly didn't know what a lot of it was, but I left nothing on my plate. I love anything with chick peas, their rice and a stuffed pepper they had, the filling is spicy but delicious. I am gluten free and lactose intolerant, and I was also looking to eat something with turmeric. It is an anti inflammatory and it boosts liver production and detox. So their dishes are right up my alley. The staff is really nice and I look forward to returning soon. read more
