The beautiful fabrics and packets of beads caught our attention. The inside of the store is huge with tons of fabrics and beads and lots of neat gift items. I bought some fabric that was really affordable out on their sidewalk sale and also found some really neat pieces for my jewelry making. They have a wide selection and overall the cost of things is comparable to other places I've been to. What really impressed me is that when I got home I didn't have enough fabric. I called and they located it and were going to mail it to me since I live two hours away. The owner was driving to Lincoln that day and called and scheduled a time and place to meet her. She was so nice meeting up with me and didn't charge me any extra aside from the cost of the fabric. It's one of the best selections of beads I've come across in Nebraska, so that combined with my great experience previously means I'll definitely be stopping in again next time I'm in Hastings.

I wish they would have done my manicure first since I did regular polish and that takes a while to dry, so my nails did end up a bit smudged and felt rushed toward the end when other customers were coming in. The bathroom also had a nasty mop bucket in there that smells rancid and I gagged while using the bathroom (might suggest cleaning that out and moving to another room that customers don't use).

She will not copy someone else's work, but doesn't need to as she is an actual artist. Her free hand drawings are amazing. She also talked me out of one tattoo she knew would not age well and made color and shading changes that make an eight year old tat still look like my Army tank and not a green blob . Not liking names as tattoos, my wife and I have matching tattoos of hummingbirds and hibiscus blooms That represent our marriage. Her books for appointments fill up fast, so be patient.
