Lillis Werder has a gift for capturing the moment and the personalities of the people being photographed. Especially for families with children and pets. Her photos are perfectly focused and the lighting and backgrounds compliment the people but do not detract from them. Many years of experience and an eye for the final results made her our best choice for a rare sibling photo. Lillis is easy to work with and it's a non stressful, relaxed experience. She also has years of experience doing photography for foreign governments, businesses, real estate, travel and event photos. I really love her photos of rodeos, cowboys and epic travel destinations. Look at her Esty shop and webpage www.Lillisphotography.com. That's where I found several pieces that are now on my walls too. She uses the very best printing available and highest quality paper or canvas for many, many years of crisp, non faded photos. We've all seen family photos from chain photography studios that faded to a reddish tone hanging on grandma's walls. That is a product of cheap processing. Better results cost a little more but a well done photo will be enjoyed for generations. And for once, I was in all the photos instead of behind the camera.

My mom had already set up a session with Ms. Lillis and as a good only child, I obliged. All I can say is I'm SO glad my mom found Ms. Lillis. My boyfriend and I met her in Old Town Manassas, but she was willing to meet anywhere. She was so friendly and welcoming. She even brought a couple props like a mock diploma for me to hold! Her son was also there to help with equipment and tell jokes to make me laugh! She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. The vision she has for capturing a good picture is astounding. We were able to mix our visions of what we wanted the session to be and have the best time. She even let my boyfriend jump in a couple pictures. Over 100 pictures were taken that day, so I was expecting at least a week before I got to see the photos. The very next day, Lillis sends the photos she had taken of me and WOW! The colors were so bold and the lighting was one of my favorite elements of each photo. She also included some silly photos that ended up being some of the best ones! She is immensely talented and personable. I highly recommend her for any event that you may need pictures for!
