This is my go to place for orchid gifts and orchids in general! Forgot a friend's bday? Housewarming? Baby shower? These beautiful orchid arrangements are perfect for every occasion. They always have a handful variety of arrangements ready, perfect for me since I suck at planning. When I have ordered an arrangement they help you pick out flowers base and little touches to make it pretty. The prep takes about 30-45 minutes so even that is very fast! A gifted an arrangement for a friend and she said her flowers were still blooming months later! Not to mention the folks here are super nice and helpful. Love supporting my local shops !

Love love this Orchids warehouse! Driven by so many times and have stopped in some while ago. The lady is so sweet and helpful, no upswell here. And so many choices and exquisite options. It is pricier than at the grocery store but worth every extra penny, trust me! Top notch qualify! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves :) Small parking lot right in front of the entrance, off Overland.

This little orchids nursery is located in Cheviot Hills and right off the 10 freeway. The ladies running the shop live their flowers and they have a great selection of phalaenopsis orchids, succulents, lucky bamboo and various pots and containers. Please stop by if you're looking for a nice gift or if you love growing orchids.

i am an orchid fan. HUGE ORCHID FAN. i love the way this plant looks and the fact that its beauty lasts beyond the 5 days that cut flowers do gives it an extra plus, plus. i discovered pac 8 orchids about 3 years ago. it is a mom and pop shop run by a very nice, helpful, father and son team. when you walk into their shop, you will be amazed by the size of the space and the fact that they house tables and tables of beautiful orchids...and all different types at that. sure you can get orchids at trader joes, but after seeing how a healthy orchid should look like, you will begin to realize that trader joes should just stick to selling food.

A beautiful orchid, arranged beautifully, for $23.99 AFTER tax. :)

***There's nothing I love more than a cute little Mom & Pop establishment of ANY kind.*** Pac 8 Orchids is the type of place you commit yourself to... for the rest of your life. From the street, you can only see an industrial, steel, rolling garage door, lifted halfway up, allowing the curious entry, but blocking out the strong westside sun. Orchids don't respond well to direct sunshine. And so, you will hear them adjusting the door, from time to time. Don't get freaked out -- They're not locking you in until you buy something. On the contrary, this adorable aging couple left me all but alone, simply welcoming me. I strolled the aisles of near-flawless orchids. And that's where I want to stop and focus. They arrange their orchids by quality, bloom, and arrangement. Less expensive options (around $10) are lined towards the back, on the right. And as you peruse, you will find all sorts of different arrangements and colors. Single stems, double stems.... It's beautiful. The owners are smart enough to use humidifiers to maintain the perfect moisture level for their delicate blossoms. Neat touch. When I asked how to treat the plant, they showed me how much water to add (which was around 1 Tablespoon) and how often (every 10-14 days). These adorable little people need to thrive. Go there... Buy an orchid. Shit, just go and walk around... You will have NO choice but to buy one when you see the amazing inventory. This includes various pots, vases, food, soil, etc. Just a great little place specializing in only one thing: Orchids. I didn't see any fake orchids, but I wouldn't be surprised if they could order you some. I'll double check on that, next time I'm there, because I WILL BE BACK. A great place with reasonable prices and friendly, warm, helpful service. So stoked that I found this place. CASH/CREDIT/DEBIT friendly. Free parking on street and in their small lot (about 5 spots).

Pac 8 Orchids is an awesome place! There are a good variety and color of orchids for you to choose. There are also many pots. The place is pretty big. You can take your time to walk around, and pick out the best orchids that you want. Last Saturday, I got one that has 6 flowers and 15 buds. Hahaha.... I hope the buds will all opened. This plant should last a long time. And, it is only $30 with tax! I love it! (Check out my picture!) I have bought a few orchids from here. They all turned out to be great! They lasted for at least 2 - 3 months with flowers. I absolutely love orchids. They are so easy to take care. Water is pretty much what they need. Since orchids have a really mild smell, they don't attract bugs much. They are so pretty that they give my apartment some color and life. They are just perfect for everyone! The owners are Japanese, and they are really nice. They would give you information to teach you how to take care of your orchids if you don't know. The price is very decent. It is about $19 - $35 depends on what you get. Check this place out!

Wow. This place is a hidden gem. Nestled on a busy street, Pac 8 is an efflorescent haven for orchid lovers. They have the biggest selection of orchid varieties I've ever seen, and the quality of their flowers is unmatched. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable. They expertly hand-craft ornate, custom potted arrangements and give great advice on how to care for your orchids. Following their instructions, I've had orchids from here that have lasted and rebloomed for YEARS. The prices, for the quality of the flowers, are outstanding. You can buy a premade arrangement for $20+ depending on the size, or you can build your own. Pick your pot, pick your orchid, add some moss and a few twigs, give your order to one of the florists and BAM. Perfection. The pots are $5+ and the flowers are $10+, depending on how big and intricate they are. Moss and twigs cost a couple extra dollars. Lavish arrangements can set you back $70 or more. But, it's totally worth it. Pac 8 also sells orchid food (yes, apparantly orchids eat too) and other accessories to promote a long and healthy life your plant. Boys, if you are looking to buy flowers for that special someone in your life, consider an orchid. The flowers last for weeks, even years, with minimal care. Not like those bouquets that look pretty on the first day and quickly wilt and rot to a putrid oblivion.

My mother's go-to Orchid store close by. They have a vast assortment of pots and decorative items to create various orchid "bouquets". BYOP (bring your own pot) and they will happily create an arrangement for and/or with you. I believe all bare single stem average size orchids cost about $22 and double stem cost about $29. You can also buy prearranged pieces with a bit of a markup.

AMAZING. An entire little warehouse FULL of every kind of orchid imaginable at PRICES SO LOW we almost felt guilty buying them! The staff was very approachable and helpful: We chose an orchid and a pot, and the lovely woman set to work, quickly creating a gift arrangement for us, consulting us on every decision along the way. (I've never had a florist allow that much interaction and it made it so much more ENJOYABLE for us!!) COST breakdown: 1. An unbelievable ORCHID ($29); 2. a beautiful little POT that we chose (7.99); 3. add some DECORATIVE ELEMENTS like those long, spindly "twigs", dark green moss, a beautiful succulent plant, and those big green leaves; and 4. the TOTAL, including tax, was $60! DELIVERY: Add $14 (it was there within the hour, which we were told was unusual but lucky) GRAND TOTAL was $74!!!!! An hour after we'd left the store our friend texted and emailed photos of the "absolutely gorgeous" orchid sitting on her desk. Her email subject line was "classy". **FYI, prior to finding Pac 8, the cheapest florist we could find to deliver an orchid in LA was $85-100 PLUS delivery, and the plants on their website looked nowhere near as beautiful as what we purchased. I recommend going into the store at least once if you can, to familiarize yourself with their vast selection of plants, pots and decorative choices... But even if you can't, the UNMATCHED QUALITY AND PRICE make it worth ordering over the phone and you can ask them to send you a pic before it goes out for delivery, they're happy to oblige ;) By the way, I have no affiliation with the store, I just can't get over what an amazing value it really is! We were so happily surprised to find this hidden gem thanks to all the previous yelpers!!!

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that. When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

I placed an order and gave them the city of where it needed to get to. The lady taking my order knew exactly where it was going before we even said it. So they must have done a lot of deliver there. The floral stands do come with arrangements. They have a sash that comes free or you can get more of a professional style for an additional fee. I highly recommend ordering arrangements here. Pricewise for my order was great. For an extra large arrangement with added additional flowers including delivery and sash was 250.00.
