I graduated from Good Shepherd in 1987. My brothers and my sister graduated from G.S.S. as well. My…read moredaughter is in 8th Grade now and has been in that school since Pre-K. My son is in K this year and attended last year in Pre-K. Both of my children love that school. It has truly changed over the years and for the better. Good Shepherd is a community of Administration and Faculty that care for the needs of every child and work hard with all the parents to get those needs met. When you walk inside you feel a sense of being a part of an everlasting family and that feeling lasts even after your child(ren) has/have left that school. I truly appreciate the steps and measures that are taken to make my child's school experience a success. Thank you Good Shepherd!

I wouldn't take John K's review that seriously seeing that most of his reviews are 2 star ratings…read moreat bogus restaurants. He even takes the time to review chain stores like McDonalds, Subways, Staples, Home Depot. If you knew anything remotely close about good food you wouldn't be eating at those places. The guy is a joke, take it from someone who has a child attending the school. The teachers and staff are dedicated, caring, and up to par when compared to most schools in the area. I've attended a couple of their school events and they seem to genuinely care about the well- being of their students. Paying for this school means getting your money's worth because you know your child is being taught life lessons that will last them a life time. So I would completely disregard reviews coming from someone who gives majority of their reviews 1-2 stars not because the places are actually bad but because he/she is miserable. You could just tell he looks for the smallest reason to give companies bad reviews.

Even more sad to learn some of the horror stories surrounding its closure, from all the bad comments and press releases from some years back. We moved to a building just across E166th St. I have fond and great memories, in particular from the teacher who patiently and lovingly taught me English. I came here knowing NOTHING of the then foreign language. What she taught me in those short 2 years, lasted a lifetime! I will always be grateful to her and this school. Regretfully, I can't remember the correct spelling of her name. I do remember it sounded like Mrs Schoudash. I had opportunities to learn piano and trumpet. I sang in a school chorus. Although I never pursued those skills further, they opened my eyes to new and wonderful opportunities. My imagination took off as a result of this school. My knowledge of the history of this country was initiated and fostered in this school. My love for this country was nurtured in this school. Please know, this school offered great things to the world and I was witness to it. After over half a century, I'm still pursuing some of those dreams born in P.S. 90!

I was physically abused by that teacher... He used to punch me, slap me, and threaten me all the time... I remember going home with bruises all over me... I would never wish anyone that type of abuse i went thru... My life was affected by it... PLEASE DO NOT send your kids to this school... Going to this school, was one of the worst things that couldve happened to me (as a child)
