Simple but great lineup of wines, focused on the bio dynamic/organic/natural spectrum but not totally limited to. They know every single wine back to front and will guide you in the direction of the wine you feel like drinking if you don't know where to start. I guess it's expensive in comparison to the off license but you pay for what you get and it's totally worth it. These are wines that rarely give you a head ache the next day (unless you don't share and drink three bottles to yourself). Many great wines from around the world.
You can also get a platter of the most delicious looking cheeses (the cheese line up changes each time). Take away or chose your bottle and sit back and watch passers by with fromage. Sounds pretty good to me.
They also have by the glass wines on offer which are pretty much wines that they would like to drink (often with you if it's quiet).
This particularly earns five stars as the guys that run the place make you feel super comfortable and welcome and love to share their knowledge. Don't be intimidated ask them all the questions! read more
