PC World - most geeks have a love hate relationship with the store.
Components tend to be very expensive - even with collect at store. However if your PSU dies and you want same day replacement then you either have a drive to one of the big suppliers, or you pay PC World.
The price of other things can be hit and miss. A lot of peripherals can be purchased at a cheaper price by looking at the website and using the 'collect at store' option. If the item you want isn't cheaper online, it is worth holding on as they seem to change the offers regularly.
Staff there have basic computer knowledge and are generally friendly.
I've never had to use support, but customer service has generally been spot on, with no quibbles about accepting returns on faulty items. read more
