We bought our fridge there about 4 years ago. We had looked at all the usual appliance shops and came across one at Scratch and Dent at a greatly discounted price, it had a slight dent on the side but it didn't matter because the way we were fitting it meant we wouldn't see the dent. The warranty was still valid on the fridge and it`s still going strong, a good buy. The owner was very helpful. They can only stock so much in their shop so it's worth asking if they any more lurking around back. You also need to check stock regularly as the turnover is quick and more sort after items go quickly. Parking is on the street.

They're always under-staffed and the few members of staff there are usually on the phone or already talking to a customer. Once you get to speak to someone however, the staff here are excellent. They know their products inside out and don't try to get you to sign up for services or phones you don't want. I went back to complain about a fault on my iPhone and the guy I spoke to not only helped me get it fixed, he helped me get a £45 credit added to my account. Now, that's what I call customer service!

Of course, its busy, and there isn't all that much competition in a town the size of Burgess Hill, but I wouldn't honestly be able to recommend this store. The goods they sell are fine - great, even - but with phones the level of customer service after purchase is crucial, and I didn't see much great service going on, which is a shame.

Don't be put off by the shabby shopfront or the chaotic office/storefront. He was able to sort me out with cable at a fair price and I had a little chat with him about geeky computer stuff in general. He was knowledgeable about his trade and a pretty friendly guy. If you are not lucky enough to have had a friend like me to verse you in the ways of technology then I would recommend stopping by.

Aaanyway, he said it's be £100 for him to back up my files and reinstall windows. I'm not even sure it's not a hardware fault, but hopefully this'll fix it. It seems a little steep, and if I wasn't desperate I prob could've got a friend to do those things... but ah well! The guy was friendly though, he does the repairs himself so there's no sending it off and a long wait (he said it'd be done by tomorrow), and I like the suggestion of authenticity by his crazily cluttered IT geek office! Note: the above opening times are the official ones but then he told me Monday is his day off... on the plus if you're busy he'll come to your's to diagnose the problem and pick the computer up most days.

Always in it to save a penny or two ,ie petrol. Pulled over whent in, and was pleasantly surprised. The place looked clean and tidy,well stocked and organised. Do have to say though.wasn't met with a nice smile or welcome. The guy looked proper miserable.Like he had the hole world on his shoulders. Or it could have been the site of my ugly mug. Don't know, but a smile or fake grin would have been nice. Anyway I took out my old basher of a phone that wasn't working. Every time you put it on, the screen goes all fuzzy. So I asked if he could fix it. I was told yes know problem. How much I said, and was plesently surpprised with the answer.£25. I think and thought that was pretty good. I know if I whent to town, they would have charged me more..so he took my name and number, and said, I'll call you when it's ready. Ready being a couple of days. Even more impressed. I then asked about a screen protector for my phone. He said I don't need one, it has one on it already. I never new. So he could have done me, and been a couple quid up. He never. So that also tells me that halo halo are also honest. Rare in today's day and age. Looking around the place,it looked good. Monitors and keyboards well spaced out, and nice leather high chairs. Coming outside to take a phew snaps of the outside, it looked a bit shabby, but know reflection on the inside. A overall good experience. Will defo be going back here again if I have anymore phone problems. I highly recommend.
