One of the girls in the treatment rooms had taken ill however they didn't cancel our appointment, they just gave one of us our treatment then the other one after. There was a bit of a wait then as one had to sit in the bar area waiting on the other. I had the hot stone massage, it was so good. Seemed longer than half an hour too. It was relaxing and lovely. And they made you feel very comfortable too. After the treatments we had afternoon tea. You got as much tea as you wanted, sandwiches of choice with a wide range to select from and they were made to order, warm freshly baked scones with jam and cream, mini desserts such as meringue, profiteroles and ban offer. It was delicious. I have seen a similar offer for Dunadry this week, only difference being that the choice of sandwich was very slim and couldn't be amended except for dietary reasons. The price of their package was £25 so I think it would be worth a try.

Ross Park is a short 25 minutes from Belfast only 20 minutes from the International Airport. There are 40 bedrooms, 2 of which are executive. The venue is available to hire for weddings/ conferences etc. There is a fully equipped gym on site. It is conveniently close to Junction One and a short distance from Ballymena, which has some great shoe shops! This hotel is set is beautiful surroundings, it's not in the middle of nowhere, but it is out of the way if you're after a bit of peace and quiet. You will be welcomed graciously by lovely staff who are very accommodating. I came here recently to put my feet up for half an hour after shopping myself out in Ballymena. I was welcomed personally by the manager, who talked away to me, even though there was a busy wedding on. We chatted about their lovely wine selection and he offered me a seat to relax in their comfortable tea room. I really enjoyed my short stop here. I was really impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and elegance of the whole place. There are some great offers on their rooms so maybe I'll be lucky and get to stay here for a wee break, (I wonder if my other half's reading this?) ...hopefully he is ... *nudge nudge hint hint*

They made choosing this venue the easiest decision in the world. We went to the carvery on Sunday and the food was just outstanding. Even though it was super busy we were seated quickly and it was not over crowded at all! The rooms are all beautiful whether you choose a standard double or one of the fabulous suite! The prices for everything from rooms to food are so reasonable for such a beautiful hotel! I highly recommend a trip here and a walk round the beautiful gardens!

The drivers are pleasant and friendly, and the fares are reasonable - I can remember one particular night when it was really freezing and there was ice and snow everywhere - but the boss man himself came to collect us in his people carrier, braving the hazardous conditions and driving very expertly on the slippery, scary ice too. One downside - I can't be certain of this but they either don't have enough drivers or the drivers don't clock on in large numbers as there have been times I've called them and they've not been able to accommodate me for the time I require. Minor point, as it doesn't happen that often.

The hot water jet tub in the bathroom was the best after a long day of site seeing. The next morning we were continue to be surprised with how nice the place is. During breakfast everything tastes very good. They serve complimentary hot and cold food as well a an assortment of cold juice. (Everything was very good) This place was so nice and cheep for the price compared to other b&b we looked at previously, that we decided to stay another night! Being out of the way, it benefits from having beautiful grounds (including a little river) surrounding it - ideal for pictures! The main room for weddings is huge. I'm no good at guessing, but I reckon it could take a big 300 person wedding without breaking a sweat. My cousin got married there last year and I was really impressed. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and the whole day ran without a hitch. Which is all you can ask for really!

It is so modern and tastefully decorated inside, and the couple who own it are super friendly, and my friends told me that they really went out of their way to help them, even giving them a lift into Belfast to see a show at the opera house when their taxi failed to turn up! Each room has a large flat screen TV and DVD player, and the bathrooms have power showers - and as mentioned, the decor is outstanding. No run of the mill generics here! If you are on business, or even just a net junkie, they have free wifi throughout. It only costs £25 per person sharing, and this includes a full cooked breakfast. This guesthouse would be absolutely perfect for anyone visiting Carrickfergus, or Belfast, which is only a short 15 minute drive from here.

When I entered the room, it was very clean and had the home feel to it. 3 single beds, one double bed. We're traveling with 3 adults so the room is perfect size. A couch, flat screen tv with 172 channels if you planned to stay in. Small refrig for some cold items. $30 pound per person a night. I would definitely stay here in the future and highly recommend this B & B.
