This was not an issue for Portland Best! They took my car in on June 16 and had it completely repaired back to new and ready to be picked up June 20th !! Despite it being a holiday weekend and supposed supply shortages!! Not only were they incredibly prompt with the repairs but they treated me personally with kindness, respect, sympathy, and dignity of which I wouldn't have and have never received from any other shop!!! This was the third time going to Mac's. I normally do most of my own repair work but this time I…read morejust didn't have the tools or time. Replace clutch hydraulic parts. Two nuts held the master cylinder. By design the lower nut almost impossible to access. One of those issues that renders the entire car helpless. Its hard to find a good shop. Also some of the older vehicles can become a money pit of issues. A 1990 Trooper. Modified to over lander use. True it cost a little more this time, but not a simple fix. As always Mac's was able to make it right. The next day I headed to the mountain's. Its my get away survival truck. Thanks to Jim and his crew.
