On Monday I called Burfords, as I had previous service from them. The appointment was made for later in the day probable after 2:30. At first they assessed the problem and discussed it among the two of them. Half hour later they were finished, all before noon. Excellent work and great results. I will definitely be calling them again for a water heater replacement. It sure was a pleasure to do business with Burfords. I would recommend them for all your needs and wants. Good job guys!!!

That definitely wasn't the case here. It cost $115 to install a thermostat (plus the $126) that I had to explain to them how to install it because the technician did not know how. I was specifically told $126 and if a part was needed then I would have to pay. I specifically asked over the phone multiple times if it was "$126 flat" and specifically asked about any other costs like labor and she assured me only $126 to walk in the door and parts. The scheduling lady doesn't remember the conversation going that way and was extremely unprofessional over the phone today. I would have been less frustrated if I was told upfront WHEN I ASKED what the costs were instead of being blind sided. Makes their competitors more intriguing for the future. *I would give them zero stars if I could.

Our cap had come off of our septic tank and caused the ground above to soften and colapse. Matt took care of all of our needs and when he could not find a cap the size we needed he went back home and built us one out of metal. Within 4 hours our tank was fixed and the hole it had created was not only filled back in but he landscaped the area back on top. I highly recommend his service and we ended up having him fix other things that we have been needing to get fixed the following day. He cleaned out our drains and repaired our toilet and we will be calling him for all of our plumbing needs in the future!!!

We have had other companies come out and run a cable down our drains several times and when they leave the drains are back to working great again. However it never fails that the issue is never truly fixed and we end up calling them back. This time we tried something different and explained to Matt at All Clear what was happening. He ran a camera down our line and discovered the issue. All the drain cleanings in the world would not have fixed what he found. We needed the pipes replaced and the old plumbing was not only bad but it was not correctly installed, this was what was causing the back up. Matt was very fairly priced and did not charge us a same day fee. Thanks Matt for taking the time to figure out what was really wrong.

Rotten egg smell came back after two weeks. We called them back out. The guy came for 15mins told me to disinfect our water heater and change the whole house filter. Charged us $70. We went to take the anode rod out to disinfect the water heater like the guy suggested and then realized when they replaced our anode rod they stripped the bolt so we cannot get it out. We also found a large dent on top of our water heater as well from when they came out the first time. Called them and ask for them to come out and take anode rod out so we could disinfect our water heater like they suggested. They said to do that it would be $80 an hour even though their technician is the one who installed it incorrectly and striped the bolt so we can't get it. I will not be charged for them to come out to correct their mistake. I will be calling another service to our house to help us get the anode rod out. Outrageous. Do not recommend.

The mechanic checked my furnace, said all was well, but wanted to also perform a carbon dioxide test to make sure the levels were safe. he performed the test and said that he would have to shut the furnace down because it was unsafe at the carbon monoxide level that he was seeing on his monitor, 5 ppm. He also suggested that because the furnace was 20 years old, it may need to be replaced. He gave me an estimate as he left the house. of course I was concerned and immediately contacted several companies to come to my home and provide a quote for replacement of my furnace. Both companies that inspected my furnace said that it did not have a cracked heat exchanger, nor any other issues causing elevated carbon dioxide. Their tests revealed ZERO parts per million! I believe D and B was just trying to make a sale of a new furnace and I am very disgusted and upset, what a scam. Don't waste your money having this company perform any work on your HVAC systems.

Out of 6 quotes taken to replace our furnace, 4 of the companies did mention that the mandatory Building permit would be drawn. Fralick, is one of two that had not, nor did he intend to; I discovered this the morning of the installation. When the installation had been completed the unit would not produce hot air; after running for two hours, it could only warm the house to 68 degrees. Outside temp was 20 degrees that day. I called to make Him aware, have it looked at and corrected. Hours later he showed up and made a few changes to the settings on the unit and said give it some time to correct itself. My Wife and I expressed our dissatisfaction with the fact that we still have no heat, His responses were disgusting! His first reply, "This is new technology, and you may have to get use to how it works". C'mon it is a furnace; it is supposed to heat the home! Second reply, "70 degrees is not so bad". Then thirdly, to add insult to injury he say's" This is still better than the kerosene heaters that you were using". All the time being too full of pride to admit that there was a problem; one that he could not identify. He was done, He left! The next morning my Wife had me call Bob Cookingham, the representative from Blessing Heating and Cooling. He had been out and had given us a quote; this was my wife's' first choice. He took the call and said he'd be at the house in 30 minutes. He was at our door within 30 minutes and after 10 minutes He knew something was not right. It took another 20 minutes for Bob to identify that the AC was running simultaneously with the heating unit; cooling the air down to 68 degrees. He isolated the trouble to the thermostat which was likely damaged by the previous failed installation. Bob was a total class act; He never spoke badly about Fralick and Sons. He even complimented their work. Bob refused any compensation for His efforts, He recommended that we not mention His visit to Fralick and Sons nor that He isolated the problem, but only point them in the right direction. After telling Bob what was said by Dorian (the owner of Fralick and Sons), the news that someone else identified the problem that he failed to, would not likely be received well. The next evening without getting a follow-up call from Dorian or anyone from Fralick and Sons to check on how we were doing, I texted Dorian, and informed Him "It appears that the AC was running as well as the furnace. I turned off the breaker to the AC unit and now we are getting good heat". The installer came out and began to trouble shoot. He pinned it down to the thermostat. He was apologetic and said, "I am sorry, that's something I should have caught". Hearing the installer (Patrick), accept accountability made all the difference in the world! Thank you, Patrick. Dorian did show up. He seemed a bit giddy. Probably because they didn't cause the problem and got to make a few bucks on the sale of a thermostat. Dorian did say that He never heard the AC running when He was here the night before and missed the issue. And as you can see from His response above, that He had no part in "our issues". With sarcasm I say, Thank you for your "absolute Professionalism" Dorian!
