On an obviously very busy Friday afternoon. I was informed that it may take until the next Wednesday before the car could be assessed. By the next Wednesday, the car had been assessed (I suspect an engineer stayed late for this), the sizable part had been ordered, received and fitted. Communication was excellent, staring on Monday morning.I collected the car that afternoon, it had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. I'd been using the car as a mobile skip as attics, sheds and gardens needed to be cleared out prior to moving house, so the vehicle was in bit of a state. Some moss was growing in places. I highly recommend Central Garages, the staff went above and beyond assessing and completing an unexpected job added to a full schedule. Many thank to Central Garages, Lichfield. As I am moving near the Lichfield area, my family will be using your services for all out motoring needs in the future. Also thanks for the Christmas bar of chocolate! All the best, Merry Christmas and a happy new year! D Murray

In fact, the noticeboard in the office is full of letters saying thank you and commending the place and the excellent customer service. The lads who work in the garage are very nice too. My car has never needed to stay over night and I usually get it back at the end of the day if I have booked it in early in the morning. Once, my car needed quite a lot doing to it, but they phoned me before they went ahead with it as it was going to be pricey and wanted to ensure I still wanted to go through with it. I thought that this was really professional and fair. They also always offer to give me a lift back home, which is not too far away, which is very kind too. I like this place as the staff are brilliant and they are professional and treat my car well. Very trustworthy and helpful people.

He was visibly shook up and in no fit state to take his maths exam that day. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and advised me to pull the car in so they could have a look at it. Once in the garage Pete and another lovely mechanic (whom I can't remember the name of sorry!) set away with cable ties and gaffa tape until it was drivable. The staff members are friendly and bubbly. They explain everything clearly, without trying to drown you out with technical terms. They offer detailed reports so you know how your car has been tested and what the results show. They tend to get very busy so it's worth calling in advance to book an appointment. Once th car was at the garage Steve, I presume the owner, was vey helpful and told me he'd give me a call an wouldn't do the anything without my say so, he then kindly gave me a lift to the train station ad I had to get to Portsmouth still. The work was all done within a day, but I couldn't get back to Coventry for another 4 days and they had no problems with keeping it there or me. I decided that as it was in the garage anyway I might as well get the AC re-gassed as they did I for £40 which I understand to be cheap. Overall the work done on the car seemed a good price, I didn't once feel I was getting ripped off, and the staff were friendly and helpful. So I'd be more than willing to recommend them!
