Ozark fired my son today because he didn't have on his glasses. Smh, Let's keep in mind he didn't cause a wreck, he wasn't speeding, He was stopped to have a safety check and he didn't have on the glasses. read more

Ozark claims they are a big family. Sure. However, like any family there will be favorites. If you're not a brown noser, be prepared to receive the worst loads. Also, do your best to stay away from Pat, the safety guy. If you don't kiss his rosy fat butt, he will make your life Hell. Dispatchers will call you during your sleeper berth time and yell at you that you're going to be late to your appointment constantly, and that's usually during a split sleeper when you're trying to catch up on hours because you got caught in slow traffic. They will also make you run FedEx loads that are HazMat, whether you are Hazmat certified or not. They will make you run FedEx loads that are very clearly stated Corrosive, Flammable, Dangerous when Wet, Radioactive, etc. With NO PLACARDS on the trailer and with their driver not having HAZMAT certification. They will tell you it's no big deal since the trailer doesn't display hazmat placards. You will drive hazardous materials for this company, whether you have the endorsement or not! Good luck with this sketchy company!!! read more

I am also an alumnae, and am SO proud to be. The friendships and families I've made at GSL are lifelong. GSL rocks, truly. While we've been at GSL forever, the (new) Headmaster and Teachers are THE BEST. Truly the best environment for kids - great art, sports and music fully integrated as well. BTW, his bullies parents were large donors. The only diversity at this school is the football team. Only the 8th grade team. Because there aren't enough students from the school to make a team, they BORROW BLACK BOYS from Binghamton to play for them. But check the yearbook! How many of these black boys are actually ALLOWED to attend this "white privileged" school. Let me answer that for you. "NONE"!!!! Please be aware of this school's criminal lack of diversity and how distant and non inclusive the minorities are treated from the students, teachers and especially the majority parents. It is easy to speak with wonderful views when you are a part of the majority and treated beautifully. But, WHAT ABOUT THE MINORITIES? Who will speak for them?? WILL YOU, THE MAJORITY GROUP steeped with your "RICH history" (code word= racism) and exclusive community???? Very rarely are the minorities invited to your dinner parties, neighborhood parties, kids Birthday parties, play dates, and let's not forget definitely NOT THE SLEEPOVERS!!! TOTAL EXCLUSION!!! Go on I'm waiting for just ONE brave person from the majority to speak to and for the minorities at this school about their SO CALLED WONDERFUL TREATMENT AND EXPERIENCE!!! ANXIOUSLY WAITING!

NSA is a multi-accredited school with actual campuses around the world, as well as offering online classes with or without virtual Zoom classes! My teenager and her friend have enrolled so they may still feel connected to friends, and make new ones, around the world! I am happy for them. :) Btw, I read another review that colleges do not accept their transcripts. That is not true, so perhaps they were referring to another school w/a similar name(?). Note: "NorthStar Academy holds dual accreditation from Cognia through the regional office of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). NSA has maintained accreditation standards since November 2005; it was the first online Christian school to receive accreditation. NorthStar Academy has a wide range of approved NCAA courses in both our regular and EVP formats. NorthStar Academy's CEEB code number is 252825." https://www.northstar-academy.org/accreditation/ They have been so helpful & informative thus far, and we are thankful to have gotten into classes as enrollment is limited. (Classes are filling up fast due to medical crisis we are experiencing with COVID-19.) Our only complaint is that my rising 3rd grader cannot enroll as well since NSA begins at 4th grade (currently.)
