He tried to accommodate me, however I requested female crabs (my preference) and when I arrived home I had male Crab's. Yes ! They were nice and meaty, but tasted like rubber. I was so disappointed, and upset, but at this point I was over it. It's a shame because I had been hankering some Crab's and 3 day's later, I still have the Crabs. I tried to doctor them up but, no bueno! I have purchased Crab's from places I didn't expect to like, and they were better than Captain Greg's! I contacted Tim regarding the issue, and he told me that I could come back to the store and they would credit me a few dozen crabs. While I knew that a few dozen would not fully compensate me for the quality of the 1/2 bushel I purchased, I was willing to accept it as a resolution. I called Tim less than an hour before coming to the store, and he specifically told me that I was good to go. When I arrived, however, the woman working there told me there was nothing she could do and that she would not take care of the situation. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment, so to be treated this way as a returning customer is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was that Tim then claimed he thought I was the person he had spoken to a few weeks ago--despite the fact that we had spoken less than an hour earlier about this exact issue. This was not only a disappointing product experience, but also a terrible customer service experience. If a manager makes a commitment to a customer, the store should honor it. I should not have to come into the store and argue with an employee over a resolution that was already discussed and approved. Horrible service, poor communication, and unacceptable attitudes.
